I don’t go to Chipotle all that often these days but when I do I typically order the tacos because it’s not as heavy with rice or beans like the burritos are. Today I stopped into the location on West Broadway in downtown San Diego for lunch. The restaurant was busy but the staff were moving customers through the line quickly. I ordered Barbacoa Tacos and they were delicious. The Barbacoa was fresh and hot and the tortillas were warmed and soft. Thoroughly enjoyed them.

Being an vegetarian I always go to order bowl of rice with beans, tomato, cabbage and some spicy souce.
This becomes very simillar to indian Rajma-rica.
Food is also tasty and it is perfect for the price also.
At this outlet there are lots of seating option indoor as well as outdoor to enjoy meal. The store was reasonably clean. Staff members just doing their jobs. Overall I had a good experience here.

I went around 10:35 a.m. to get a salad bowl, chips, & guacamole. The chips were stale and now I can see why if you go early there are pre-bagged large chips on the counter & they must be from the day before. The chips were so stale, they should throw out the chips & always use fresh ones for the day of opening.

A few bites into my burrito I found a hard foreign object. I can’t figure out what it is, kinda like a piece of a thick twig. Anyway I tried calling to notify them, the robo responder was a pain to get through, I finally got through and no one picked up and the answering machine was full. I wanted to contact them to warn them in case they know what this is and possibly not have it served to others, but they appear to have left me no way to get in contact via phone. Maybe they will see this and contact me as I can’t seem to contact them. This happened 30 mins ago.

Parts of the rice was dry and hard. I asked for extra cheese but didn’t receive it. One staff member wasn’t the nicest. Burrito roll was unbalanced and had a hole that opened even wider as I ate it.

I was here Wednesday evening 1-10-24 (7:50-8:20 PM). The food and service were good but the atmosphere was a mess which made it more difficult to enjoy the food.
This was not an issue of being a break time for workers as almost every table was messy and every garbage can was overflowing. It looked like it had been like that for quite some time.
