This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the quality and cleanliness have gone downhill dramatically. During my recent visit, I saw employees handling food right after touching their hair and clothes, which were visibly dirty. The food prep area—including the tortilla warmer and the rocks used for cleaning—looked neglected and unsanitary.
It’s very concerning that management is allowing hygiene standards to slip this much. Proper training and cleanliness should be a priority in any food establishment. Unfortunately, after eating there, and other cities like Del Mar, I ended up getting diarrhea. I truly hope they address these issues soon, because this place used to be excellent.

Requested my tacos to be placed on a bowl due to needing a sturdier container while traveling, which is a common request. The server audibly complained that it’s harder to put tacos on the bowl, then proceeded to skimp out on all of my fillings. The attitude I was given would have been fine if I had just gotten close to enough of the food I’d paid for.

It’s Chipotle, no frills, consistent, easy and relatively healthy fast food. I make a habit of ordering ahead a couple times a month through their app and picking it up in the drive thru lane 10-15 min later. Never had any issues.

I’m a regular Chipotle customer and this location opened recently. Very convenient as I work close by.
Over the last weeks this place is going downhill.. never have all the food in stock, only spoons no forks, no napkins, etc.
Today I wanted a bowl to go.. no white rice, no veggies, no tomatoes, no cheese..
None of the lemonades available.. come on!
And then the mere is not one table available that’s clean.. all dirty :/
Don’t like to write these kind of reviews but you are going to lose customers doing business like that. As mentioned above this is a regular occurrence over the last weeks 🙁

i have a severe gluten allergy (celiac disease) and i have been to other chipotles so i know they are good with making stuff safe, but this chipotle went above and beyond! one of the employees spent about 5 minutes wiping down the ENTIRE station and replacing the spoons along with gloves. the employees couldn’t be nicer and the food was superb. 10/10!!

I used to love Chipotle, but haven’t had it in a long time, and now I remember why. The quality has gone far downhill, not just at this location, but every store across the board. I ordered for online pickup, and when I got back to my car, I realized that the burrito was not double wrapped (as I was charged), and it was also covered in smeared guac on the outside, making it completely soggy. I went back in, and they happily remade my burrito, but the second one still didn’t taste right. The chicken had several pieces which were completely burned through and inedible. I’m sure they are understaffed, which makes things hard, and I certainly don’t blame the staff working hard to do their best, but clearly there are deep issues in every store that Chipotle needs to work hard to rectify. It’s not the same restaurant as it used to be 5ish years ago.

Came in during lunch rush at 2:10pm on Saturday 07/20/24. Personally witnessed the “manager” (washing her hands) being extremely unprofessional and verbally abusive to the staff, most which were doing their best, especially the kind young man working the counter (pictured w/ the hat on). He seemed to be the only one working and running around and she was beyond unprofessional bordering cruel and rude to him multiple times despite his best efforts as well as to other guests. This used to be one of my fav quick lunch spots, but I can genuinely say the culture has changed negatively in the last few months quite drastically for the worse, towards the clientele as well. Nevertheless you need to care about your employees/guests enough to treat them with respect and dignity and not put bullies in charge of the team, point blank. Hope it’ll turn around soon!

The food was decent. The chips were stale, and there piece of avocado shell in one my moms hard shell tacos, the service not good. They were pushy, and had just assumed we wanted to dine in and gave us are food dine in style. didn’t ask us if we wanted to dine in or do takeout. When I told them we wanted to do takeout they got mad and wrapped my moms hard shell tacos like how they would wrap a burrito with tinfoil and were gonna put it in the bag with the burrito. When I questioned them about wrapping it in tinfoil instead of how they usually do it with the bowl and metal lid. Then they said that they “normally wrap the hard shell tacos with one piece of tinfoil like a burrito” and “that they have never put them in the bowls and that it would be weird if they did put it in the bowl”. I have been going to chipotle for a while now and i know that they always put the tacos in a bowl. I would not recommend coming here unless you want avocado shells in your food, stale chips, and rude service.

I stopped at Chipotle to grab a burrito like I always do. I ordered a beef burrito with rice, cheese, white sauce, and corn. This was the smallest burrito any Chipotle in the entire chain has ever served me. They put in half a spoon of rice. The beef had more fat than meat. And it was cold—not hot or even warm. They added just a pinch of cheese, less than 5 grams. You could literally count the amount of cheese. The corn was okay. And the sauce was okay. When I complained about the size, they just said, “Do you want us to make another one? We won’t charge you extra.” But we all know that every time we ask for extras, we’re charged an absurd amount. Never again. I’m never going back there. The amount of food is not worth the price they charge.
