My daughter and I wanted to try this Chipotle on way to Sylvan Beach and we walked up and got a bowl and I wanted the shredded beef but it was so dry and crumbled. So we ended up getting the steak and it was so dry, fat pieces and just a terrible experience from the other Chipotle we tried a couple days ago. Won’t be back to this location. 🙁

Ingredients are poor quality. Portions are very small. Chicken was burned, and a lot of inedible, fatty pieces. I asked for extra veggies, and of course didn’t get it. I do not recommend this place.

For this being a new location im pretty disappointed, none of the ingredients were fresh, they were out of sour cream and the employees were under staffed. During an evening dinner rush there were only 3 people , the poor girl behing the counter was making the food and working the register while the other employees cooked and cleaned, they needed help.

I hardly leave bad reviews but I’m pretty disgusted after my experience today at this location. I come from working in food service and managing restaurants. I have a keen eye for details and when I was waiting in line I saw this one worker who would not stop touching her face with her gloves on. But not just her face, specifically she touched her lips 3 separate times, even put the glove to her teeth as if she was biting her finger slightly. And then the two strands of hair she didn’t clip back. Then her cheek and chin while she has full face of makeup on. Then I saw her make people’s orders without changing her gloves. I asked her to change them when it was my turn and she politely did. I don’t want her to get in trouble but I hope that management can address the situation promptly and have staff be more aware of food safety especially in an establishment like this. I understand the fast pace environment can be stressful, I’ve been there but any time I’d accidentally touch my gloves to my face, hair, clothes etc it was common knowledge to change them out right away.

Restaurant was not clean. 4 tables had dropped food on them the entire time we were eating our meal. Employees standing around the kitchen not doing much. No napkins were available. I asked the cashier for more and he handed me a stack about 6 inches thick. I took several and tried to hand the stack back. He said they were too busy for anyone to leave the kitchen and asked me to put them where they belong. Again, they weren’t busy. Not a good first impression.

The steak was tough, and flavor-wise, not really distinguishable from the rice and beans. I don’t know if it is poor quality beef or overcooked, but there are 4 Mexican restaurants and two trucks within half a mile that for the same money or less make way better fajita. I’ll come back in a month or two to see if it gets better, but being a chain, I’m guessing everything is what it is.
