Me and my husband placed an online order to have our food delivered. We don’t live to far from Chipotle. When the food arrived it wasn’t even warm. Not even the bottom of the bowl. The rice was stiff. It came just as you see it in the bowl. Doesn’t even look appetizing. I paid $16.70 for just this one bowl that seems as if it had been sitting out for hours. The website is apparently sketchy cause I placed an order for 1 Burrito bowl for myself and 1 Burrito Bowl for my husband and somehow when I hit order it must’ve deleted one of my items cause I had done my typical order review prior to confirming my order.
Anyways, not saying this place is no good I’m just sharing my 1st experience with them.

I came in around 3:30 today, and I was served by Evan. Absolute top-tier service!! She was patient with me, and she was very understanding of my niche humor. She was professional AND didn’t skimp on portions. Probably the fastest trip to Chipotle I’ve had and after the school rush no less. I haven’t had a bad experience at this location before, but today has cemented this place as a PHENOMENAL restaurant that I will happily visit again. Strongly recommend giving this young lady a much deserved raise. THANK YOU, EVAN, AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Consistently the worst Chipotle in the Sedgwick County area. Staff is unfriendly every time I visit. Portions are dreadful at this location. Always out of ingredients whether it be rice, veggies, etc… The chips are almost always inedible every time. Incredibly over salted or rubbery.
Avoid this location and save yourself the disappointment. Never stepping in here again.

Went in there tonight for a burrito and was quite appalled. The staff was playing music on their personal phone, or maybe a little speaker, back by the to-go line, and I was shocked by the music that was playing. It was so loud I had to speak up to tell the employee what I wanted on my burrito. And it wasn’t clean music…. Racial slurs, derogatory body part words, cuss words, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It sounded like I was at a night club. I haven’t ever had a bad experience here until tonight.

I am generally a huge fan of Chipotle, but unfortunately, this particular location in Derby is, in my experience, the worst one in the entire Wichita metro area.
The primary issue stems from a notable lack of employee knowledge and poor customer service skills. The staff often seems unfamiliar with basic procedures and doesn’t handle customer interactions to the high standard expected of a major chain.
While the core recipes should ensure good food, the execution here seems inconsistent and does not uphold the high standards of quality and portion control practiced by other area stores. The difference in care and consistency is noticeable. The housekeeping is decent,however, the tables are typically found dirty.
I hope management addresses these staffing and quality issues, as this location has significant potential if service standards are improved.

Hands down the worst Chipotle in surrounding area I am not even sure why a $10 burrito is nearly the size of a $3 burrito at Taco bell. It had 3 ingredients chicken rice cheese you cant make a decent portion like this burrito is going to break the franchise? I will always go out of my way to go to the Chipotle on S. Seneca they always make them as if they are feeding their own family.

If you are in the Wichita area do not come to Derby for chipotle definitely the one that needs more training for their staff. Most the staff is rude as well. The portions are terrible as well. The waits are the longest as well.

Wish there was an option for zero stars. Employees seem to not care and are extremely rude. I wanted Carne Asada steak which wasn’t ready keep in mind I’m the only person in line this place was not busy at all. The lady who checked me out was rude and slammed my bag of food down on the counter and stormed off in a hurry forgetting my drink so I had to wait longer for her to come back to tell her she forgot it and she slammed that on the counter too. 3 or 4 soft drink options out of order as well, this place is a joke and needs evaluation by corporate it’s no wonder this store has so many one star reviews, I hear it’s the worst chipotle around. My food was bland as well I won’t be coming back no matter how hungry I am you all suck.
