10/10 experience at this Macomb location! Each and every person working together efficiently to get the busy line through! All around great food and a happy team taking orders! Hannah, the GM showed great leadership and dedication to her new store. Rest of her team was following right behind her with smiles on their faces! Will definitely be back.

Just got home from opening day, to say they were slammed is an understatement. Even as busy as they were the staff was fast, friendly, and efficient. Food was absolutely delicious and worth the price. SO happy to have chipotle in town!! Can’t wait to go back!

I took my friend and her kid out to eat today and we all had a good experience. It was their first time having Chipotle and they said the food was great. The staff was friendly and the store looked nice.

I am visiting my hometown in Macomb, Illinois. I live in California, presently, and go to Chipotle at least once a week back in CA. When I entered the Macomb location, I started to order my salad and saw there was no white rice. (It was right around 6pm). So I saw a prep cook was just putting more in a container I assumed would be added to the line. So I said I could wait for fresh rice. I was told that rice was for online orders and I couldn’t have any. I questioned that. No one but me was in line. The line person was very rude. She slammed down my salad and rolled my eyes when I questioned their policy. I usually get extra rice. The line worker got a manager and the manager said the store and “corporate” didn’t order enough rice and he had to save it for online orders. It was pretty early in the evening. I asked to please just give me one scoop. They reluctantly did. The manager said “don’t ever expect that again”. I was shocked. I asked if I went outside and ordered my salad if I could get more rice. They said yes. I found it very unusual to be treated like that as a customer standing in front of workers. I go to Chipotle because your food is fresh and higher quality than most places. I won’t go back to the Macomb location. That store just isn’t up to standard.

Walked in at 10:30am we were the first customers in after the doors were unlocked for start of business. There were multiple dirty tables and food on the floor. The drink station was excessively dirty. My husband used the bathroom and said there was urine all over the toilet seat. Behind the counter looked very dirty as well with napkins littering the floor.
The girl waiting on us was nice, but we will not be coming back due to the condition of this establishment.

Rock-hard, under-ripe avocado and room-temperature chicken. Black sludge on soft drink station. You only get one chance to make a first impression. This was far below Chipotle standards.

Food was mediocre at best, unlike other Chipotle restaurants I have been to. Employees were not friendly and acted like they didn’t want to be there. Not worth the price paid, as you can clearly see from my photo.
Beware of the 5 star reviews as they are clearly friends and family. No one was wearing name tags.

I walked in at 10:34 am sign said they opened at 10:30 am. Was told they weren’t quite ready yet so I waited. While I waited I noticed the glass on the serving area was filthy from what I can only assume was the night before that was never cleaned. I left at 10:50, they still had not started serving yet. There were at least 10 customers still waiting. I also noticed that while the workers were running around trying to get setup they were touching different foods and utensils and never changing their gloves. Chipotle was a no for me today .

Food has been good in my experience. My wife finds even the base spice level to be just a little too much for her taste.

Most of our rice was undercooked. All the food we ordered was cold not even room temperature. The chips were stale and the queso was clumping just as I had opened it
