My bowl was a quarter empty. Literally untouched by food on one side of it, the pieces of chicken there fell while I was taking the pictures. 13 dollars for this. Unacceptable. Just go to a real Mexican restaurant. You’ll get your plate actually full of food for nearly the same price.

My husband and I were driving to visit family and stopped in the Peru, IL Chipotle on Friday at lunch. We had the best Chipotle meal that we’ve maybe ever had, and we eat a lot of Chipotle. In order to see if it was a fluke experience, we returned today on our drive home. We can confidently say this is the best Chipotle we’ve both ever been to.

Please save yourself the expense. This is NOT the chipotle you want to go to. First time I ordered from them I got a BIG LONG BLONDE HAIR in my food. I was disgusted and appalled. Recently ordered again hoping they fixed their issue but instead I got SOUR CREAM ON RICE and no beans and barely any meat. No call was made to tell me they didn’t have the beans and I guess they just skipped it. Save your money and DO NOT SPEND IT HERE

Place is a total joke 2nd time I have had missing items one would think if you order chips and salsa you put both in the bag not just the salsa! I think I got maybe 7 pieces of steak in my steak bowl! But i paid for it! don’t bother calling because all you get is an automated system can’t talk to anyone! Save your self the money go elsewhere! EDIT 1/20/26: Still no response from any one at Chipotle.
On November 28th I believe a couple gift cards of mine WITH balances were stolen from me. Watch your security footage from 6:50-7:00pm I’m bearded and wearing a grey coat. The cashier takes both my gift cards but leaves a .05 balance on one and a .01 balance on the other and throws them in the garbage can. She doesn’t offer them back to me, nor does she give me the receipt. Watch your video and see if she retrieves the cards out of the garbage can and pockets them. One had $25 the other had $6-$8 balance and she tossed both. There are more details, you can call for those, but watch the videos and see. I feel like this is a fraud and a scam and these workers could be taking from others too. There is no phone number for just this store location, you can only go through the web site. I sent the above information to the web site and this was their response:
“Thank you for reaching out to Chipotle Customer Care. I am so sorry that this happened. I know that it had to be both frustrating and disappointing. This is not the experience that we want to provide for our guests.
Rest assured that we will share this information with our restaurant team to ensure it does not happen again. I know we can show you a better experience next time!

I have yet to hear from any one at the store one way or another so I’m posting publicly. If no response I may chose to report to the police for investigation, but I’d rather not take it to that step if I don’t have to.

This use to be the best chipotle but in the last 2 to 3 months it has become horrible. My beans were completely undercooked and they wouldnt remake it. Then my next order after that i picked it up and they didn’t give me my chips. I got to my car, noticed, and went back in to ask for them. They said oh we’ve been out all day. Why would you not tell me that when I picked up my order or offer some sort of refund or anything. You would have happily taken my money for something you didn’t have.

If I wanted a rice sour cream burrito with an infants fist full amount of meat this would have been amazing, sad to say that’s not what I ordered this time. Glad they were able to empty out their remainder of sour cream whilst preserving their stock of meat. If you’re looking for a wild card of a meal this is the place to go.
