My husband and I were driving to visit family and stopped in the Peru, IL Chipotle on Friday at lunch. We had the best Chipotle meal that we’ve maybe ever had, and we eat a lot of Chipotle. In order to see if it was a fluke experience, we returned today on our drive home. We can confidently say this is the best Chipotle we’ve both ever been to.
On November 28th I believe a couple gift cards of mine WITH balances were stolen from me. Watch your security footage from 6:50-7:00pm I’m bearded and wearing a grey coat. The cashier takes both my gift cards but leaves a .05 balance on one and a .01 balance on the other and throws them in the garbage can. She doesn’t offer them back to me, nor does she give me the receipt. Watch your video and see if she retrieves the cards out of the garbage can and pockets them. One had $25 the other had $6-$8 balance and she tossed both. There are more details, you can call for those, but watch the videos and see. I feel like this is a fraud and a scam and these workers could be taking from others too. There is no phone number for just this store location, you can only go through the web site. I sent the above information to the web site and this was their response:

I have yet to hear from any one at the store one way or another so I’m posting publicly. If no response I may chose to report to the police for investigation, but I’d rather not take it to that step if I don’t have to.
