Very good taste .experienced first time the Mexican Chipotle food.bowle type.

Nice to eat but felt little heavy. Should have one more medium bowl for those who wants to eat light weight.

As others have noted, there is ZERO attention paid to the dining area. EVERY single table was dirty. The trashcan was full. The floor was dirty. The drink station was dirty! DON’T EAT INSIDE!!!

The food was pretty good. They must have a good cook working here. But possibly the worst management of any Chipotle. The owners really should have mystery diners to provide them with a good pulse on what’s going on.

7+ workers and the 40 mins I sat inside (after cleaning my own table so I had somewhere clean to eat) not a single employee considered paying any attention to the dining room. And they weren’t busy. At times, 5-6 employees were standing around gossiping. Just see the photos.

BATHROOM….dirty, no toilet paper, and hot and humid like it was outside. Obviously there was no HVAC ran to the bathroom. Also, after waiting for the occupant to finish up, an employee exited just before I entered. The sink wasn’t wet so he obviously didn’t wash his hands. I almost walled out at that point, but he was wearing gloves while serving on the food line. So not sure if that is still a health concern or not. Guess I’ll find out.

Also about half the table lights were burned out or missing altogether. Another poor management proof.

I’ve always enjoyed Chipotle’s food, but this specific location is consistently disappointing. Every time I come in, the dining area is a disaster. The tables are dirty and sticky, with food bits and trash left behind. The drink station is always a mess—spilled soda, no napkins, scattered lids, and straws everywhere. It’s clear that cleanliness just isn’t a priority here.

I brought it to the manager’s attention, and the response was honestly unacceptable: “We’re too busy to clean right now.” No concern, no apology, just a brush-off like this is normal—and unfortunately, it seems to be. It’s the same thing every visit.

It’s one thing to be busy. It’s another to completely neglect basic cleanliness and ignore customer concerns. Until this place gets its act together, I’ll be going elsewhere.

We had never been to a Chipotle, but my husband had seen advertisements for Carne Asada and was eager to try it. No table service — one orders at the counter and takes the meal to the table. The staff was very helpful at describing the process, and they built a “bowl” for my husband and a salad for me. They assured me that the carne asada was not hot, and helpfully provided a sample. It was fine at first, but the heat got to me about half way through. Husband really enjoyed his bowl. The chips were great, too. They only had carbonated drinks and various lemonades and I cant drink those so my options were limited to water. Chips were good. The restaurant had really loud music that I didnt enjoy, and there didnt seem to be a place to sit that wasnt affected by the entry door letting in blasts of cold air. They do a good business, much of it take out. They appear to appeal to a younger crowd — we were the only people over 30 there!! A bit pricy for what we got. Chips and salsa were several dollars for a bag with a few chips.

The first time here, I heard good things about their food. There was around 5 pm, busy, and we waited about 15 minutes in line to order. We had steak salad and chicken bowl with rice, beans & cheese. It was all good, somewhat spicy. The only opportunity for improvement is that some menus items did not know what they were,so they needed an explanation about the. Prices were fair.

Every time we go here the food is amazing, but sometimes they run out of items and it gets annoying. The service however isn’t good at all the worker said exactly this “Oh hell no I am not making their food” when we walked in, and they would discriminate us by race. Specifically coming from a woman of color. She even got mad at me when I asked for the sauce bottle but she only said there was 2 varieties, but I know for a fact that there were more than 2 varieties of sauces, it took another employee to help me. This also happened with another employee. They feel like they are giving their inheritance. I’m paying for the food and they serve very little quantity. The portions are not good here at all. Davenport service is much better than this location.

I am writing to you regarding a recent experience I had at the Chipotle location in Moline, IL on the evening of January 24, 2023, between 6:15 pm and 6:45 pm.

I want to start by saying that I have been a regular customer at Chipotle and have always appreciated the healthy options your establishment provides. However, my recent visit was quite unpleasant, and I feel it is important to bring it to your attention.

Upon arriving at the counter, I explained to the staff that I have celiac disease, a medical condition that requires certain accommodations to avoid cross-contamination. I requested fresh ingredients, new spoons, and a change of gloves, similar to the precautions taken for a gluten allergy. Initially, the staff was accommodating and began fulfilling my request.

Unfortunately, the situation took a turn when one staff member, whom I have attached a photo of for reference, engaged in an argument with me down the line. She insisted that they were not required to switch spoons or provide fresh ingredients for a “gluten allergy.” Despite my attempts to explain my medical condition and the importance of these accommodations, she argued otherwise and eventually agreed to do it as a one-time exception. She also refused to provide her name, stating that she was not legally obligated to do so.

I want to highlight that the gentleman working the register intervened and assured me that he would take care of my order for the remainder of my visit. He suggested calling ahead in the future for such requests, but I expressed my willingness to wait and observe the process. I understand the challenges associated with handling allergens in a fast-food environment but believe that education and understanding can go a long way in ensuring a positive experience for customers with specific dietary needs.

The incident left me feeling disappointed and concerned about the lack of courtesy demonstrated by this particular staff member. I hope that she was just having a bad night, but her actions were distressing, and I felt compelled to bring it to your attention. As someone with limited dining options due to my condition, I choose Chipotle because it has been a reliable and safe choice for me.

I want to acknowledge the rest of the crew who went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. Despite this isolated incident, I appreciate the efforts of your team to provide excellent service.

I understand that there may be a brief training video on gluten precautions, but I wanted to emphasize that certain aspects, such as cross-contamination of spoons touching tortillas and then being placed back in the same food bins, may not be adequately addressed. I believe that fostering a culture of understanding and empathy among your staff can greatly enhance the overall customer experience.

Understanding of my rankings:
Food – Good
Service – The one individual circled in the photo was rude, snide, and unprofessional. Would have received 0 stars if it weren’t for her co-workers who stepped in and assisted me.
Atmosphere – Would have been 4 stars but I could hear her talking to her co-workers in the back, etc. while I sat and ate.
