I went through the pickup lane tonight. Jaylan was very friendly, helpful, and communicated well! That’s the second time she has service me in the pickup lane. She’s consistent! I would order all the time from this location if I knew when she was there! Food is good, it’s packaged right, and my order was correct! Unfortunately, I have not received the same customer service when I go in to place my order. Keep up the great work Jaylan! You rock!

First off, the hiring Manager or whoever hired staff should be fired. Absolutely no diversity within this establishment. Hardly any meats available upon ordering. No fajitas. The young lady took out the pan of fajitas and dripped the dirty soiled water all over the rice that was in my bowl. I asked her nicely to replace my rice since all the hot steam water looked dirty and had floating objects under the pans. All the fountain drinks were out of order as well as the water. There were crumbs and debris all over the tables and floors. Plus counted at least 8 employees working that day. Beyond disappointing since so many hard workers are looking for work. I have frequented plenty of other restaurants and they are typically spotless, serve you an adequate filled bowl and customer service friendly. I didn’t get any greeting until walked up to order and then asked what I needed. Your employees may need better training or an actual Manager on duty.

I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt because it’s Chipotle, but I was mistaken. The store does not provide a welcoming atmosphere. The staff lack enthusiasm, and their uniforms appear unkempt. The team member preparing the food, who has dreadlocks, seems to identify as LGBTQ+ and appeared quite sassy. His presentation of the food was sloppy, and he was not friendly, which made me uncomfortable. I hesitated to address any concerns out of fear of further sass or confrontation. Additionally, the chicken was overly salty. I ordered two small tacos, chips with queso, and a drink for $16. I returned the tacos, and a manager—who I believe was a young woman—only refunded me $3.85. Overall, I am disappointed with the service; the operation seems unprofessional and in need of proper training. The establishment lacks basic supplies such as napkins, and many of the drinks were unavailable. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory.

Where do I begin? After work, I decided to check out the new Chipotle location in my area. When I pulled up, I noticed there were just a few cars in the lot, which I assumed meant good timing—but I quickly learned otherwise.

My son and I ordered two (New) chipotle honey chicken bowls—one with brown rice, one with white. Right away, I noticed they were out of several key ingredients like pinto beans, queso cheese, and even the actual chicken. Instead of waiting for a fresh batch, the worker scraped the last remnants of chicken into my bowl, while for my son, she went to the back, grabbed a small cup of fresh meat, and added it to his. I didn’t say anything at the moment, but it was odd that one of us got fresh meat while the other got older leftovers from earlier in the day.

From there, things went downhill. The next worker was unorganized and sloppy, and the cheese she grabbed from the back counter, had a weird texture—not the normal Chipotle queso at all. My bowl actually tasted good but was ice cold, including the meat and rice at the bottom. My son’s bowl was drenched in sour cream, and even after we scraped a lot off, he ended up with a stomachache later that night.

Final Rating:
• Food Quality: 4/10 – Cold food, missing ingredients, odd cheese texture
• Atmosphere: 6/10 – Clean enough, but not inviting
• Customer Service: 7/10 – The staff was friendly but disorganized and in need of more training

I won’t be returning to this location until they hire better management and train their employees on food preparation and layering orders correctly. If you’re craving Chipotle, I highly recommend trying another location.

Hands down the worst chipotle I have ever been too. Dirty staff is not that great at all. Slow mismanaged it’s a joke . I wanted it to be a good location but …… ya know at least the Starbucks is good in town.

Stopped by this location and asked to use the restroom before ordering because I really needed to go. I was told I had to purchase first. I understand policies, but there was no flexibility or customer accommodation at all. Ended up leaving instead. Just something management may want to consider.

Where do I even begin the fact that this Chipotle is newly opened and the dissatisfaction in the reviews is so high ALREADY says enough on its own. My sister and I went into the new chipotle today hoping for a customer service experience better than the norm of Chipotle in Matteson and various other locations. at first glance, you can see that all of the employees are highschoolers and there is no form of authority at this location. The only people who looked older were standing in the back just watching the chaos. The line was nearly out of the door, everyone was waiting for white rice, and not ONE of the employees said anything to me, my sister, or any other customers who came in after us abt the wait on rice, corn, vinaigrette, and at least two other things. The two young girls on the line had the worst attitudes and overall disposition about being at work. They threw our bowls together very carelessly (as you can see in the picture).

I work in customer service as a restaurant manager so I understand that inventory may not be optimal at all times, but when you just opened a restaurant less than a month ago, it should be pretty easy to stay on top of things, especially if you want positive reviews. I will say, the only person with a positive attitude was the cashier, Yoselin.

I would give 0/5 stars if I could, just go to Matteson.

I placed an online order at 6.40p to be ready at 8p. When I pulled up to the window a nice young lady explained to me that they were behind 15 orders and that it would be another 10 minutes so that they could make the orders. She looked incredibly tired and stressed. This was my first visit to this location. Get your staff some help. I dont know what happened but service was impacted due to staffing. The people I saw waiting inside looked upset as well.

I have given this location chance after chance. Corporate needs to bring in someone to train the crew. It’s absolutely terrible. My food was cold, and meat undercooked. I am so upset over $40 in food that’s just not right! I love to buy and shop in my community but not like this!

Waited for my pick up order for over 40 mins
– steak and chicken. But the young woman with long black pony tail and neck tattoo at the counter tonight at 9 pm was very rude. On her phone almost the entire visit texting, not even looking up to answer my questions. When asked about a bathroom the woman with red hair stated “it was closed for the night” even though the restaurant does not close until 11 pm? The red haired woman then proceeded to walk around yelling at the two men working the entire time I was there. Very hard on the cook with the glasses when he was just trying to do his job. Not a nice way of speaking to employees at all and it’s noticed. Made me uncomfortable and feel bad for the man who was cooking. All around the customer service was really off and unprofessional even hearing their personal conversations.
