Update:

I went back and the server explained my order and the receipt to me. I didn’t fully understand it at first, but it turns out I was not charged for sour cream, as I had originally thought. I had misunderstood what the “sides” listed on the receipt were for. She explained that the sides were actually for the tortillas.

I was given the one tortilla that was missing, and then I left. Apparently, I had been charged for two tortillas, and the “sides” were used to charge for the additional ones. At the time of ordering, the server had mentioned that since I already had sour cream on the bowl, I would be charged extra for more, so when I later saw “tortillas” and “sides” on the receipt, I assumed the extra charge was for sour cream.

I came to prepare the rest of the Chipotle order for my family and noticed that I was only given 5 tortillas instead of the 6 I paid for. I wasn’t originally planning to follow up, but since I now have to go there anyway due to the missing tortilla, I’ll also take the opportunity to ask why I was charged for sour cream.

I wasn’t going to make a big deal out of it, but having to return for something I already paid for makes it reasonable to address both issues at once, in shā Allāh.

Will post the outcome in shā Allāh.

I’ve been eating at Chipotle for as long as I can remember and have always appreciated the quality and service—for the most part.

The exception has been the Chipotle in Hopkins, which, in my experience, has offered some of the worst service I’ve encountered. Unfortunately, it now seems like the Chipotle in Cottage Grove is heading in the same direction—charging without explanation.

I placed an order for three bowls, along with 3 sides of sour cream, 2 hot sauces, 2 guacamoles, and 6 tortillas. When I reviewed my receipt, I noticed a $1.60 charge for sides.

In all my years ordering at Chipotle, I’ve never been charged for sour cream as a side, and no one mentioned that there would be a fee. I accounted for the guac and tortillas, so I can only assume the charge was for the sour cream.

This isn’t about the money—ma shā Allāh Tabārak Allāh, $1.60 won’t break my account—but it’s about the principle. Customers at the very least deserve clear communication and transparency.

To add, the food was overly salty—I’m not sure if it was the fajitas or the combination of everything mixed together, but it was noticeably off. A bit disappointing overall.

Just sharing this for awareness, because being charged without warning or served food that isn’t up to par leaves a bad taste—no matter how good it used to be.

I spent 90 dollars for a meal without drinks to come home to this. I had a take out order for 7 people. Extremely small portions, burritos filled most completely with rice, and some hair in the guacamole to spice it up a bit. The entire meal was cold. I’ve heard recently that chipotle take out is going down hill with service and serving sizes. This proves it. Do not order here if you can help it. Zero effort from these employees but they are more than happy to have a tip jar waiting for you. Absolute trash. Do not recommend.

Ordered delivery for a bowl with double steak, extra white rice, cheese, salsa, fajita, and queso, and I got steak cheese and rice. Can’t even call the store to speak to someone, so now i’m out $30 for the fees and tip. How do you not add half the ingredients?

I stopped going to Chipotle after having a bad experience a year ago in a location in another city. This past week I decided to give it a try again and decided to try the Cottage Grove location a chance to earn back my business. I showed up a little after 9:00 p.m. and the sign light was off. I thought maybe they closed at 9:00p.m. I looked on google and it showed they were still open. Sure enough, I went and tried the door and it was open. I went inside and immediately was taken back by how dirty the store was. This was the same experience I had a year ago at another location. The worker seemed put out to be helping me. I was debating on walking out because the food looked like it had been sitting there for a long time. I ended up getting a burrito and chose the chicken because it looked a little better than the other meat selections.
The burrito ended up being good, but I had to try not to think about how dirty the whole store was including where my food was being made. I took pictures of the store as I was leaving to show I’m not making this up. The garbages were overflowing, the drink area was filthy, there was stuff all over the floor, the tables were filthy.
I gave Chipotle another try, but I won’t be going back for a long time.

Was ordering my usual bowl, been here a hundred times and always get the same exact thing. But not today, when I asked for my usual “extra cheese” the kid on the line said “No, my manager is watching” , put the lid on the bowl and walked away. Rudest thing I’ve ever seen. Not to mention there is no corporate rule that you cant ask for extra cheese and never been declined before. I hope this isn’t the start of a new trend, if so I will stop going.

I recently visited your location and was disappointed with the level of customer service. The new employees did not seem properly trained and lacked basic customer service skills. They made comments about a customer whose order they had messed up, laughed about it, and even made insensitive remarks about an accent.

This kind of behavior is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the store. Chipotle should ensure that all staff receive proper training in customer service, professionalism, and diversity awareness. My experience felt disrespectful, and I hope steps are taken to improve staff training moving forward.

2 times they forgot chocolate milk and apple juice than chips. Staff is nice and foods good for fast food. Ordering online coming home to only find out missing items is annoying. This is a rating based on missing items multiple times.

Worst of the South Metro locations. Last time I ordered was the last straw where my pre-paid and well tipped(35%) pickup order was an absolute mess with guac, beans, etc everywhere on exterior of food packaging. Did not get large chips, but instead a 1/4 full bag of mostly crumbs with the exterior covered in grease. Wonder how many delivery drivers got blamed for this location’s food quality issues. The current employees I’ve encountered are always apathetic. Drinks/ Napkins station has been disgusting every time in recent memory. Needs new managment asap. Place would be closed already if not for online orders and Doordash not being able to see the carelessness.

Poor service! I did a door dash order and on all 3 items I ordered, I requested for fajita veggies. And then the 2 bowls I added extra meat and paid for extra meat.

The bowls did NOT have ANY of the fajita veggies, if the store ran out, you could’ve waited until the new batch of fajita veggies was cooked then made the order, OR have contacted me to let me know, not make the whole entire order WITHOUT the items requested.

The kids meal I bought only gave me the option to choose 2 sides, so guess what?! It was missing a whole side since they didn’t care to give me the fajita veggies!

Then the extra meat, there was hardly any meat in the bowls, it was mostly filled with rice. So I paid extra for something I didn’t even get.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Chipotle’s service and quality was gone down hill!
