I went to this Chipotle in West Bloomfield to get 3 bowls and I went 3 hours before they closed. Why did they run out of guacamole? Why did they only give out one half spoon portion of carne asada and tell me that a full spoonful is considered double meat? I particularly drove to this one since the 2 that are by me, always lacking in some portions. Silly me, this will be the last time I give my money to this company. Your standards are low. You should have guacamole to at least last up until 10 minutes before you close. That goes for any of the food items.

This location never ever ever cooks their rice properly. It is alwaysssss undercooked and hard. The rice is supposed to be fluffy and you should be able to taste the lime! I’m convinced they don’t even add lime… it’s just undercooked rice and cilantro. I literally ate here today and yesterday (in addition to many times in the past) and it’s like I get that some places have a bad day or 2, but this location is never good. I’m only even making this review because they are CONSISTENTLY bad. Steak is always dry, SUPERRRR fatty… I spit out so many pieces of steak and don’t even get to enjoy the bowl because 70% of the meat is dry, tough, and fatty. I’m literally a food reviewer on Tik Tok and both times I wanted to film a video and couldn’t because it’s just not as entertaining when you don’t enjoy the food. The rice being undercooked will ruin the ENTIRE meal because you get rice in every bite. I really wish they’d make better food because now I drive an extra 20 minutes away to visit the Northville location despite this location only being 3 minutes from my home— just so I can ensure that I will get my money’s worth.

Somehow, the people who place their orders online and arrive 10 mins after they’re ready still have to wait another 15+ mins AND get to wait and watch as everyone in line gets their bowl and leaves lol. On top of that, the portions are super inconsistent, even if you ask for extra it might be completely ignored, and so is the quality of the food. Crunchy rice, tough and tiny bits of meat, employees who clearly dont care about their work. Not worth coming here anymore.

Worst fast food location I’ve ever visited. Today I was told they were closed at 12:45 as mobile orders were waiting to be picked up, and employees in the store. I’ve gone numerous times while they were supposed to be open, and the doors were locked. Employees clearly don’t want to be there either. They just need to close the place at this point, cant imagine what buffoon they have as a manager.

Update to my previous review: placed an online order on 4/15/21. As others have mentioned, the order was not ready for 45 minutes after the order time. Everyone was crowded inside waiting on their orders. After I got home, my order was wrong! They have me chicken instead of steak and other ingredients were wrong.
I placed an online order a couple of weeks ago too and the wait was 30 minutes past what the app said it would be ready. The rice was crunchy, or was either uncooked or dry and old. The whole thing tasted funny.
Not going back to this location until they fix what’s wrong.
I placed an online order using the app and everything worked out smoothly. They have a new pickup area where you bypass the register completely. It was very quick and convenient. The food was packed nicely and made it home in good shape.

I asked for double portions of chicken and wasnt even given the amount of 1 normal portion but was still charged extra. I highly recommend you find a different location or avoid chipotle altogether because it is literal robbery.

You know what. It’s my fault. Because I should have seen the rating and went to the other locations although this one was 2 min closer. This place is understaffed and by understaffed I mean they need to hire employees that will actually work. I’ve counted 6 employees aside from the other taking orders and checking people out. I will say this was 1 hour before close..I think they wanted to get out of work early so they had one person manning the line while everyone else got ready to shut down. Also as I was typing this another random employee came out so where are yall hiding???

I would give this Chipotle zero stars if this would let me. How does a restaurant whose entire menu revolves around tortillas manage to run out of them on a Saturday in the middle of the day? And it’s not a one-time fluke—this location has a pattern of incompetence. They routinely run out of guacamole, tortillas, and basic ingredients long before any normal lunch rush is over.
The staff here only add to the disaster. They are consistently rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping anyone. It’s honestly impressive how a place can fail at both customer service and keeping ingredients in stock. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.

Don’t ever DoorDash from here. You will either wait over an hour for your food or get the skimpiest bowl you’ve ever seen. Probably both. More often than not out of chicken, carne asada, queso, guac, you name it. Slow customer service, unbelievable. Go to canton for chipotle
