The staff is super sweet a jovial. The line girl was super patient with me while I figured out what to put on my burrito. The check out lady was all smiles and took suck great care of me. Only thing that bumbed me out was no free wifi as I was hoping to work while I had lunch. Probably intentional to keep the patrons circulating but still annoyed.

Went on lunch break today. When ordering, we were stopped so that an employee could cut the line and order. We were met with very bad attitudes. The meat portions were less than half of their serving spoons. Even then, that apparently was still too much because they were putting some of it back in the container. When asked to give the actual full portion, they said they would charge us double. We never asked for double, we asked that they just do the right portion. I’ve never had these problems at the other Chipotle in Avon.

I recently visited this Chipotle and unfortunately, it was not up to the standards I have come to expect from the brand. Upon arrival, I noticed that the restroom hallway was flooded, which raised immediate concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.
The wait time was excessive, I spent 30 minutes in line with only four people ahead of me. When I finally reached the counter, it was evident that the area had not been cleaned throughout the day, as it appeared quite unkempt. The staff seemed to lack a sense of urgency, with many walking around without actively engaging in tasks to expedite service.
Additionally, there were significant issues with order fulfillment. 8 customers were waiting for their online orders, which appeared to be misplaced, some saying the order was complete and it wasn’t even started. To compound the situation, the restaurant was out of rice and several select meat options, limiting choices for patrons.
A particularly amusing yet concerning moment occurred when the employee wrapping the burritos was doing so in a manner that resulted in them being rolled into a ball shape, rather than the traditional burrito shape. This not only affected the presentation but also the overall experience.
In summary, this visit did not reflect the quality and service I have come to associate with Chipotle. I understand this location just opened, but I hope that management addresses these issues to improve the experience for future customers.
We ended up going to the chipotle up the road and was a top notch experience as usual

They stole our money and won’t give it back! Ordered online via the chipotle app, DoorDash was supposed to deliver it, and they never came by. When I called the restaurant, I was told by the manager that they do not hire DoorDash and to contact them. I told her that we didn’t order on DoorDash. If we didn’t order via DoorDash yet they’re delivering it, sure sounds like you outsource delivery to DoorDash. DoorDash said to contact the original store. Driver did contact us and spoke very limited English, basically said he didn’t know what happened and that there was to many orders, he stated he would not be delivering our food. I called the store again asking for a refund due to not getting my food and was told by the manager that I would have to contact the corporate office since they do not perform refunds at the store. PS it’s 930pm at the time, So you can take over $50 from me immediately, give me nothing in return, and make me work to get my money back. This store committed THEFT and is making it impossible to get my money back. Don’t go here. They just got it up and running not too long ago and it seems like they have some shady people running the store.

I had not been to a Chipotle in years, opting for family run Mexican restaurants instead. I received a $25 e-gift card for Christmas though. My friend and I both ordered bowls, with me getting beans and he getting barbacoa. The service was fine but not super friendly. They struggled with the e-gift card when the QR code failed to register in their system, leading to the manager to tell her to enter in the code that was on the printout I provided. We got no drinks or chips, and it totaled $26.35. I suppose that’s to be expected at this point. I will say it was a lot of food, but all the cold toppings made the dish barely even warm overall, which is seriously off-putting. If I had brought it home, I would have definitely microwaved it. The ceiling in the restaurant is completely unfinished, meaning bare 2×4’s, which is super weird. I’ll not be back.

Until the location opened, It had been well over 10 years since I’d stepped foot inside a Chipotle. This one opened 5 minutes from my house, and I don’t have to battle the dreaded east Avon stretch of Rockville or the red light farm that Perry Road and that entire stretch of US-40 in Plainfield turned into for no apparent reason after the pandemic.
I’ve read the horror stories about what you get when ordering online vs in-store, and in the 4 or 5 times I’ve been to this location my burritos are consistently huge, and the bowls I get for the rest of my family aren’t what I would call huge, but they always fill the bowl.
Is service slow? It was during the most recent visit I made, but only because they ran out of white rice, and were obviously short handed and caught by surprise. And yes, they are often out of chips it seems. But that’s not the fault of the line workers and kitchen staff, who have all been polite and easy to talk to each and every time.
People are entitled and rude to service workers for no reason, and I can’t fault any one of them for not working at breakneck speed for ungrateful people, and for all of $12-13/hour.

At first I thought this was going to be exceptionally good for Avon, we lost a KFC which was managed incredibly poorly, miss the KFC.. on to Chipotle, In just going to say it must be the building, the Chipotle team is managed as poorly, once you get past it being the high school kids hangout and all the disruption they bring, like a school cafeteria, it’s next to the long wait in line, of course we have high school kids working the line, let me just say, kids are kids when they are not managed well. I want to return again but after two consecutive visits I’d chaos pandemonium no beg cooked and ready and the visibly left over food looks like it was dropped and picked up several times, in just unsure when I’ll return, sadly there are two Chipotle in Avon both over ran with high school kids hanging out, being disruptive absolutely disrespectful as usual. I’m thinking Qdoba is going to be my next attempt to try and enjoy a little Mexican cuisine..

The employees can be friendly but the atmosphere is cold, the food CAN be good when they have things in stock. Only one employee working the line every-time I come in. They are frequently out of chips. I found a hair in my food recently. I will not be going back to this location again. I really wanted this new location to be good because of the convenience but I’m willing to drive longer to go to a location that I KNOW is quality.

Pre-ordered through drive thru with these results:
1. 15 minutes late
2. Paid for guac on a salad bowl. No guac included
3. Ordered 3 kids “Carnitas” Build Your Own…. no Carnitas on any of them.
4. On those same kids meals, ordered beans as a side… no beans on any of them
5. On one of the kids meals, ordered corn tortillas for my GF daughter… supplied flour tortillas instead.
So between the missed guac, beans, and carnitas x3, I probably overpaid by about 50%.
I tried calling the store directly but the phone was not answered. Hope they get better.

I’ve been here 3 times now…. Seems like they start to close before it’s closing time. First time I got there about 30 mins before closing time… They had already shut down the food line completely. The second time I came back about an hour before closing time… They were out of chicken…. Several of us customers waited for almost 20 mins for new chicken to be put out. I was last in line. Once I was ordering my food they said they were out of several food items…. It was still about 30 mins before closing… I left with half of a bowl of food because they were out of several items I was truly craving that night. I’m sure they weren’t out, they just didn’t want to bother opening up fresh new items so my order could be fulfilled smh….. Now tonight.. 2 hrs before closing.. There was about 3-4 customers in line.. I ended up waiting for almost 40 mins for my pickup order. You would think the company would put seasoned employees at a brand new location to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Also.. Inside was dirty.. Trash everywhere on the floor.. I regret not taking pictures.
My husband just let me know as well a few days ago he waited over 45 mins for his pick up order.
The excitement for a new chipotle very close to home has now faded.
I quit going to the one in Avon a while ago after the manager was doing my order with such nasty attitude…. She was so angry I told her I saw 2 flies land on my food as she was making it.. I kindly asked if one of my bowls can be redone for that reason. She was tossing my bowl around and purposely gave me half of the scoop for each topping I chose. I got my food. Got in my car and cried. I’ve never been treated so poorly ever in a restaurant setting… That day did it for me so I stopped going to that Avon location for quite a while… Now with my experience from this new place.. Makes me very disappointed. For now I’ll stay away.
