The food was cooked and prepared well and the line didn’t take long. Good pricing. They allow you to know what’s in the food if you ask them and even give some friendly recommendations. The atmosphere was peaceful and not loud and people were well behaved and respectful. Plenty of seating and parking. They have a drive trough as well if you don’t want to go inside. Super rude manager told me I can leave when I asked for a little more. I was getting double protein and they gave me not even a half scoop when it was supposed to be a full. Employees just did not care or were scared of the manger. Tried telling him I wasn’t trying to cause any issues just wanted what I was paying for. He just mumbled something under his breath. Not coming back terrible experience.

I normally go to this location because it’s the best in the Auburn area but today I was highly disappointed. There were 8 employees visible and only one was working the line while also having to restock and work register. The wait was super long and then they were out of black beans, chicken, and guacamole. They scraped out the tiny amount left of the sour cream and corn to put on my bowl. When I asked if they had anymore they said no. Then at the register the price was more than every other time I have come so I questioned if that was correct, and she was super rude to me. This place has seriously gone down hill, it used to be my favorite location but not now. Don’t waste your money for a bowl with nothing in it because the staff won’t restock and cook more food.

The food is genuinely good… if they have it. They are always out of everything and you could come right when they open, a busy hour or a random time in the day and they are ALWAYS out of everything. On top of that the employees are flat out rude and don’t care. They give you blank stares when you ask for literally anything. When they actually have stuff (and that’s rarely the case), the food is great but like I said they’re ALWAYS out of everything. Unless something changes, I’m never coming back as this is the eighth time it’s happened to me in 2 months. I tried to give them a chance but this is unacceptable.

Best part of recent visit is the 4 different flavored organic tumeric infused self serve drinks. Otherwise, the chips were stale and did not taste salty or lime flavored as in past visits. We ordered and ate inside around 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was not crowded, only 1 or two tables had been wiped off and the dining area did not appear clean. 2 drinks, 2 small salads and 1 small bag of stale chips for basically 30.00
The staff was friendly and the drinks were refreshing. Doubt we will be returning and would not recommend to anyone.

Ordered online and order was available for pickup off the shelf when I got there. The chicken tasted a bit different and there was no lettuce on my order. Protion size was decent. I kind of wish they would let you know if they weren’t able to put something on your order cause they were out.

This location in Opelika is absolutely disgusting and dirty. There is literally dust build-up on one of the walls, all of the trash cans were full/over-filled, all of the tables had food debris on them, the napkin dispensers were empty, the juices/teas were empty, there was no ice in the ice machine, and the list goes on and on. My job has afforded me the opportunity to travel a lot and this Opelika Alabama location is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. I visited the Auburn location 2 months ago and it was dirty then. However, I thought that it might be a one-off incident so I returned to the Opelika location on 29 November 2023 and it is even worse now. This location needs a complete overhaul with how they operate their establishment.

I ordered online to pick up my order of steak bowl. After waiting about 15 minutes for the order to be ready, I take it home and find out that there is NO meat(steak) in the bowl. In addition, I found the rice and beans under the grated cheese, cold and runny with salsa/tomato juice.
After calling the store and speaking with the manager, her excuse is that there are only 3 workers working the dinner shift tonight and they are low on meats. So, they are low on meat…and the answer to that is to just OMIT it from a STEAK bowl order?
What lousy management and group of workers here.
Does not even deserve a 1 star. Wasted my time and money on this garbage.
