I usually enjoy going to Chipotle for a quick and tasty meal, but today’s visit left me feeling disappointed due to the service I received.
Things started off well — the first staff member, a kind man, was friendly and helpful while preparing the beginning of my order. However, when another worker, a young African American woman, took over, the experience changed.
As we got to the sour cream, she started closing up my bowl before I had even finished customizing it. I politely let her know that I still wanted cheese, guacamole, and lettuce, but instead of responding professionally, she rolled her eyes and gave me noticeable attitude. I continued to try to be polite, but she remained cold and dismissive, which made the rest of the interaction uncomfortable.
I’m not someone who expects over-the-top friendliness, but basic courtesy and allowing customers to complete their order isn’t too much to ask. Everyone has off days, but service like this can really affect the experience.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all employees are trained to treat customers with respect, regardless of how busy or stressful the shift may be.
Bottom line: The food was fine, but the attitude from one of the staff members was not. Hoping for a better experience next time.

I ordered online and there’s only one person in the front. Everyone else is in the back watching the Super Bowl halftime show. It’s only about 830 they close at about 12 and then I go after waiting to get my burrito. I go to get some sweet tea and that sweet tea is totally empty. They need to get it together. This is the fourth time that came here and they didn’t have any sweet tea.

I regret to say that my recent experience at the Chipotle in Davie, Florida, located in the Tower Shops, was utterly disappointing. As longtime fans of Chipotle, my wife and I have visited various locations across the country and have always appreciated the quality and service. Unfortunately, this particular location has consistently failed to meet even the most basic expectations.
First, the staff seemed completely disorganized and inattentive. We had to repeat our order multiple times because they couldn’t remember it. When we asked for salad dressing, it felt like pulling teeth—despite multiple requests, we were left waiting far longer than necessary.
The most frustrating part of our visit was the interaction around our request for double meat. Instead of accommodating our request, the staff became argumentative. To make matters worse, when they finally served our bowls, the portions were ridiculously small, especially compared to the heaping servings given to other customers who appeared to be friends of the staff.
Adding insult to injury, the chips we received were stale, completely ruining what is usually one of our favorite parts of the meal.
We are not trying to hop on the bandwagon of Chipotle hate. We’ve loved Chipotle for a long time, but it’s evident that the service and product at this location have diminished extremely over the years.
In summary, the Chipotle in the Tower Shops of Davie has consistently delivered subpar service and food quality. Despite our love for Chipotle, we will not be returning to this location. If you value good service and decent portions, I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I’ve been here many times giving this place a chance. The management is terrible no one takes their job seriously it takes 5 minutes to make one bowl per person. Not to mention a worker named Jennifer started spraying something that appeared to be cleaning supplies around the food using her hand to cover it an hour before closing. I asked her why are you spraying that around the food that is still on the line and she told me we are closing soon do you not like it. I told her of course not you should not be spraying that around food. Another worker assisted me and I asked for her name and his name which he told me her name but not his name. This place is terribly managed and very unsanitary this is a big health violation. Hopefully there is a change in management and workers. Sanitizing spray should not be sprayed on the line where there is food.

All tables dirty, I had to clean my table and chair and the tray was slimey. My first bite of (tender) steak was grissel and so with every other bite. The chips were supposedly Handmade (fresh) but were stale!!!! Guacamole over $2 for barely a spoonful. Men’s room on a scale of 10, I give it a 5, I’m just glad I didn’t have to sit down. Overall I paid $36 for 2 drinks and 2 Carne Asada’s, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

My husband and I usually love going to Chipotle for a quick fuel especially because its easy to get your protein and some veggies intake… but this time, the server there did not give us the proper portion asked. My husband asked for double meat, but didnt get and it and the server said its ok … like get on with it lol then when it was my turn I said normal just half steak and half chicken she made the portion really small. We eat pretty often at Chipotle so I know the portions are not usually this small, but she said that’s normal so I canceled my order.
This particular branch in Davie in the Costco plaza has really bad service. She just replied oh well and just moved on. They dont care over there, they just want to make money and get you out of the door.
Now, Im debating whether or not I want to continue to get meals at Chipotle altogether…

Nothing quite like going through a line, having all the line staff build a great looking burrito bowl, just to have the cashier hand you a cup with her fingers fully inside of the cup! I couldn’t believe it. I asked for a new cup.
What made it worse is that when my son went back up to the cashier (because they were out of forks), she made a snide and rude comment to him. Not going back.

The workers here all look like they hate their lives. I once saw a mouse in the outside eating area. Every table is always dirty. There was no soap or hand sanitizer in the bathroom, the sink was also dark and gross(like a dirty gas station bathroom). The area where they get their food has food mixed all over the place. They skimped out on the portion of chicken. They forgot to give me a side tortilla and water cup when I asked. We asked for corn and they said they didn’t have anymore. We asked if they were making more and they said no. We asked if we could get a side from the catering side and they said they couldn’t go over there. A few minutes later they brought out corn.

I never normally leave reviews especially bad ones. But this specific enter was the most disrespectful and disgusting I’ve encountered. Came inside of the chipotle to get a regular meal and normally a top would also be placed on the meal because it’s to go. I asked kindly for one and a guy named Chris threw the top across the counter as if he’s trying to initiate something. I don’t get the aggression neither had a clue why he behaved like that.

TERRIBLE. I really can’t believe what I just saw. And the fact that I spent money there.
Ok so we went in line and there were only about 2 people ahead of us. We started to notice the Bain where the food is prepped was messy but we were like ok we can move passed that. So the lady in front of me was starting her order when two of the workers in the work-line got out and said hi to one of their friends in the line. After that one of those workers went all the way to the back never to return again. Now the other worker returns without changing his gloves and proceeds to help the lady in front of me. She was able to say one more item and then that worker went to the back. Now there was no worker at all in the front for about 5 minutes. Just a bunch of walking around and talking. It looked like no one cared about the customers and some seemed like they had an attitude of oh well “I have to clean” or “I am the rice maker” so… sorry can’t help you. We were in the line
For about 20 minuets and our food was sitting out (the lady in front of me included) for about 15 of those 20. We get to the register and the man there was not talking to us to guide us on paying or even offering us any drinks or add ons. I was honestly looking for one good worker there that would step up to the plate and service the customers and get this place running how it should. But was highly disappointed that no one came to the rescue. Everyone was watching us, watch them do their own thing. So sad. I wish there was an option for no stars.
Oh yeaaaa. Rice tasted undercooked and This place was a filthy mess. I would fire all and rehire… just saying. I never do reviews by the way.
