I stopped by the Chipotle in Sanford today for a quick meal, and in terms of the basics, it delivered exactly what I expected. The service was fine, the restaurant was clean, and my order came out quickly. It’s Chipotle, fast, convenient, and reasonably tasty. I don’t go in expecting a five-star dining experience for twenty bucks.

What will keep me from returning to this location, however, is the greeting policy. It’s very clear management has instructed employees to call out “HI, WELCOME IN!” every single time the door opens. Some people might like that, but I’m not one of them. I came for a simple, quiet meal, not a running commentary every time someone walks in.

Unfortunately, the entrance is on the opposite side of the dining area, so while I sat and ate my bowl, I heard “HI, WELCOME IN!” over and over. I stopped counting at around 25 times before I finally gave up, threw out the rest of my food, and left. Great for business that so many people were coming through the door, but not so great for anyone trying to enjoy their meal in peace.

The food and staff were fine, just the atmosphere made it hard to stay. I’ll be choosing a different Chipotle next time.

I visited Chipotle at 11 am to try their new Chipotle Honey Chicken. Honestly, I wish it had a spicier kick, as it was quite sweet. Nevertheless, I still maintain that their steak is the best. I placed a pickup order, and my food arrived promptly when I arrived at the restaurant. The service was exceptional. Unfortunately, halfway through my bowl, I discovered a long hair in it. While this is an unfortunate occurrence, I wasn’t overly upset. The staff promptly replaced my bowl without charge.

I went today and I normally come here to this location in Sanford and I love it when Dignoris is there. She provides super excellent service, excellent attitude, she always has a smile in her face, really friendly and professional, if im deciding what to eat she has patience and doesn’t rush me. Long story short, you need more employees like Dignoris. Food is always great at that location. That location is always clean.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your Chipotle location. I have been a regular customer and have never experienced any issues in the past, but today’s encounter was exceptionally unprofessional and unacceptable.

During my visit, one of your employees—an African-American male with dreads, wearing a hat and glasses—handled my order in a rushed and careless manner. He interrupted the normal flow of service, hastily took over the line, and repeatedly rushed me through my order without allowing me to clarify the specific items I wanted, including details for my partner’s meal.

In addition to his dismissive attitude, the employee served me the leftover scraps from the steak pan, provided an unreasonably small portion, and displayed a clear lack of courtesy. His behavior was rude and dismissive from start to finish. What makes this even more concerning is that there was no line or crowd to justify the rush—there was simply no reason for such hurried and discourteous service.

This level of conduct is entirely unbecoming of a Chipotle employee. It reflects poorly on both the individual and the management team overseeing operations. I strongly recommend that this employee either receive immediate retraining in customer service or be evaluated for termination, as his behavior directly contradicts the professional standards expected at your establishment.

I will not be returning to this location as a result of this experience. I hope management takes this matter seriously and ensures that the quality of service is restored to the level customers rightfully expect from Chipotle.

Paper Chasing
I ordered for pickup at 7pm via the app because there was a free double protein deal. I got there about 715 and my order wasn’t on the pickup shelves. While people were getting rung up, I watched a guy by the I guess pickup food prep station with one glove on one hand and no glove on the other, The hand with no glove grabbed a queso cup and the other ladled in queso…not sure that’s how it’s done but whatever. I finally talk to the cashier and my order wasn’t sitting there next to Mr. Queso hand. When I finally start eating, 3 bites of the chicken were inedible. Two of them either had bone or hard cartilage which would’ve been great to swallow. That pretty much turned me off from wanting to eat anymore of it. Also, I didn’t notice what I would consider double protein as it seemed to be maybe a piece or two more than normal. Overall a crappy experience.

Ordered food, people were amazing. The portions were really good. I go to pay and my bill is way more than it should be so I asked why. This girl in the picture tried charging me double meat on our 4 kids meals because we asked for the meat on the side of the quesadillas instead of in them. I asked the manager because I don’t want to pay for food I didn’t get. The girl laughed at us, laughed because we didn’t want to pay for food we again, didn’t get. The manager seemed unbothered by her attitude but he did take the extra charges off our bill. This manager should do better with his people and she should be written up for the way she treats people. Do better Chipotle.

Horrible!. When I walked in it was 4 customers no one in the line which meant it wasn’t busy. Cool. I liked that. Get to the counter to order the food and they had absolutely no fresh protein, its like everyone was on break. Red flag shoulda left. Anyhoo. Got my bowl Get home and the chips are damn near STALE . omg omg..smh . We need better workers out here. No one takes their job seriously in the food business anymore. Totally DISAPPOINTED!
