I work about six minutes from this restaurant and order from this location at least twice a month, as I genuinely enjoy Chipotle. Unfortunately, I consistently run into the same issue when picking up my order—being told that vinaigrette is not available, even though it is an option within the app.
During my visit tonight, the employee working the Chipotlane/to-go area refused to provide vinaigrette and stated they were out. When I asked if I could cancel my order, vinaigrette suddenly became available. When it was handed to me, the employee threw it into the bag so forcefully that the container opened and spilled all over my food, ruining the meal.
I asked to speak with the manager, and the employee told me she was the manager, yet refused to provide her name.
This is not the first time I have experienced poor treatment from this individual. The repeated lack of professionalism, refusal to assist customers properly, and dismissive attitude are extremely frustrating—especially as a regular customer.
I am requesting that this situation be reviewed, and I would appreciate being contacted regarding a refund for my order, since the food was ruined due to the way the vinaigrette was handled.
I enjoy Chipotle and hope this matter can be addressed so future visits reflect the level of customer service your brand is known for.
Thank you for your time.

I had one of the worst Chipotle experiences I’ve ever had at the location on 760 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, entirely because of the manager on duty and untrained staff.
I go to Chipotle often and always order a chicken quesadilla in person. When I went in, there were maybe four people in line, so it was not busy. The employee I ordered from started making my quesadilla, but it came out completely wrong — floppy, barely toasted, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. I politely asked for it to be remade because it clearly wasn’t cooked properly.
That’s when the manager stepped in and immediately gave me an attitude, claiming that quesadillas are “online only.” I told him I’ve never heard of that before and that I order it in person all the time. There are no signs anywhere in the store stating quesadillas are online-only, and this has never been an issue at this location or any other Chipotle.
I even asked if they could just make it this one time since I wasn’t aware of this so-called rule, and I told him I was in no rush and they could take their time. He refused and said all of the staff was brand new and that he wanted to teach them “correct protocols.” While I understand training new staff, maybe he should also be teaching them basic customer service and how to make food correctly, because what they handed me was honestly inedible.
He then told me to just order it online instead — which made absolutely no sense. I was already standing in line, had already waited, and the food had already been made incorrectly. Why should I step out of line, pull out my phone, order the same thing, and wait again? He also said he wanted all staff “on the line,” essentially prioritizing other customers over me, even though I had waited the same amount of time.
Because of how rude and dismissive the manager was, I walked out and drove to the Chipotle in Casselberry, where I stood in line, ordered my chicken quesadilla on the line with no issues, and it was made perfectly and efficiently. No mention of it being online-only at all.
That alone proves this “policy” was either made up on the spot or being enforced incorrectly. The staff at the Altamonte location was unprofessional, poorly trained, and badly managed. Having an entire staff be brand new during a rush — and then taking that frustration out on customers — is unacceptable.
I will not be returning to this location, and I strongly recommend going to literally any other Chipotle if you want competent service and properly made food.
We got our meals and by the time we came to the register, it was a pink haired, nose pierced lady who denied the order stating that it only applies to burritos. Even after explaining what we saw on Google (not on the Chipotle app for some odd reason) and that I had confirmed before ordering, this apparent manager named Scarlett refused. We even told her we can just accept tortillas to claim it’s a burrito to make it easier for her to ring the charge up. It’s unbelievable. So, left our two orders behind for her to throw/waste. What a shame.
On my way out, I took a small stack of napkins sitting on a table and Scarlett came running and asked for them back. She said the paper towels are around the corner. This is the kind of service Chipotle stands for. They also have these false advertisements to lure people in and then deny them. This has happened before and I’m no longer going as this is probably the second or third time. I’m done. They will also run out of stuff like and not have the courtesy to inform people before they stane in line. Should be simple to just put a board and state the missing ingredients.
If I could give 0 stars for the way everything is prepared before delivery, I would.
I ordered a chicken bowl and they included things I never added to my order, and also forgot to add the extra tortilla that I ordered with it.
When I opened my chicken bowl, it looked like I had ordered a soup.
Seems like when you order online they just play with your food and put what they feel like, not what’s being requested and payed for. This is very disappointing.
I ended up throwing up and throwing it in the trash.
We still kept the order but after we sat down to eat, wouldn’t take long at all, the food was cold!
I never understand that if you serve a majority of your orders with rice – how can you be out almost 45 minutes prior to closing. Are you all just not going to make anything with rice at all?
