This is a tough review because the people were very friendly and fast and the food was good. However, the place is a disaster on the inside. It is very dirty and needs to be cleaned. They are very busy, but they need to hire more people to help these people keep the restaurant clean.

I had to look up the health inspection score after coming here because I was horrified. I ordered ahead and was just running in to pick it up. I walked in to a line spanning the entire restaurant for customers ordering in person. There were five people in front of me waiting to pick up mobile orders. This restaurant was absolutely disgusting, trash everywhere and overflowing. There were no napkins and the drink containers were gross and two were empty. I waited 20 minutes before my bag was pulled off of a random cart in the hallway and given to me. Needless to say, my food was cold and I was nervous to eat it. I won’t be back

Only come here in person if you want to be ignored for 1 hour waiting in line while DoorDash drivers get priority. It would be faster to have someone deliver your food to their own parking lot . Staff ignored the line of 21 people deep while waves of drivers came came in and out. No tables were clean to even sit down. Feel sorry for the actual staff as they were fighting for their lives here

This place never fails to disappoint me I mean how can you go 0/5 in being the worst chipotle in GAINESVILLE. Workers are slow and rude probably because theyve been understaffed for ages. And the chicken… the sorriest chicken i’ve ever seen I mean if I was craving chipotle that bad I’d rather go to the one on university. Management do something PLEASE this place is so BAD. I mean look at my chicken it’s not even cut up. Don’t come here unless you wanna wait 30 mins for your food even though the line is short 😀

Someone needs to crack open his/her wallet and increase pay to hire more workers. Most of the people are pretty great given their awful working conditions but this place is constantly packed and 3-4 people working as 1 phone order and 1 walkin get added every 1-2 minutes. The result is a terrible wait (1 hour+ today was typical, Friday 2:30 pm not even a meal time) and everything covered in spilled food because nobody can stop to wipe or sweep. We wont even talk about conditions in the unattended restrooms. This is 100% failure of management/ownership.

The workers were nice but incredibly slow and unprofessional. Zero parking anywhere; I had to tell my girlfriend to wait in the car and just keep driving while I pick up the order. Nothing was stocked. I ordered 9pm pickup (2 bowls) and waited for my order until 9:45. The largest issue this time around is that the vegetables in my bowl had been washed in sanitizer solution (normal), but they forgot to rinse it with water afterward so my entire bowl tasted like pure acetone. I paid for a soda cup but there was no soda left in the machine. Unbelievably terrible operational flow. The workers looked miserable and tired. Prices keep going up and quality is plummeting.

(10/19/25) Possibly the biggest menu item that they are promoting at this time is the Carne Asada. Out of the three big TV screens that they have over the counter, this item is pictured in the center screen all by itself.
After Waiting in line for a ridiculously long time because they only had two people in the front, I go to place my order, and I am told that they are not serving that item. When I asked why, I was told that their manager had told them not to for some reason or another. The LEAST you could have done his put up a sign and let your customers know!

Ordered a double carnita burrito. All I got was half carnitas and double rice. Also got a quesadilla and a burrito bowl . The quesadilla wasnt even assembled well , everything fell out plus it was cold. The only okay thing was the burrito bowl. So basically I overpaid for a rice burrito and a quesadilla that wasnt even properly assembled. I dont see the standard of the franchise in this.

Rice was inedible. Hard , gritty. Could only enjoy top ingredients when eating. Wanted to bring to groups attention but with the store business, the initial interaction seeming more like a bothering instance than a serving one, I decided to go here. Also heard others who were behind me in line and sitting complaining about the rice. Truly disappointed

As I’m standing here the worker in the back placed a mop handle on the cutting board and I’m disgusted. The workers are all tired and that’s understandable but they have the nastiest attitude and the cashier has headphones in. Also the entire line is nasty and messy everywhere. This is a health hazard and the reason why chipotle often has E. coli outbreaks. Also, it had looked like they hadn’t changed their gloves in hours. I’m certain this person probably moved the mop and use that cutting board immediately after.
