Some of the employees are great, but management is the clear issue. During my most recent visit, I came in to purchase two bowls using a Buy One Get One Free promotion. I was wearing a Christmas hoodie with the Grinch on it, and the manager refused to honor the promotion because I had my hood up. That reasoning is completely unreasonable and inconsistent with company standards. I immediately went to another Chipotle about 20 minutes away, and they honored the promotion without any issue.
This location has a long history of problems. I’ve waited in line for 30 minutes only to find out they were out of items like chips or key ingredients, with no signage or notice posted—customers are just left standing in line wasting time. This happens far too often, and it reflects poor organization and leadership.
This location is easily one of, if not the worst Chipotle in the Metro Atlanta area. Until management improves, I will continue to avoid it entirely.
I get there at 515pm and at 520pm, I got a notice from the app that my order was picked up!! Around 525pm I inquired about my order, being nothing was placed on the shelf and showed the girl at the counter the app. She basically yelled at me and another customer for asking. “Well why didn’t you say you were waiting, how was I supposed to know?!”
He and I looked at each other surprised. I said nothing. Another customer even complained that they have bad attitudes at this location and always get orders wrong.
At 530, I still don’t have my order and I asked again and showed the app to her and another guy working there and now they can’t find my order that I already paid for. She had the nerve to ask me AFTER seeing my order did I pay for it. I asked her can you read and see that I paid for it online?!
Some other little guy came out claiming to be the manager (no one was wearing name tags) and I told him what happened and suddenly my order appeared. Another employee found it sitting on the counter by the windows at drive thru.
I simply asked how long was it sitting there and they answered “I don’t know!” I asked well since no one knows and I don’t want food poisoning, can you remake my order?
The gurl and the little manager said bluntly “NO” I told him that I see where the staff gets the attitude from. He said, no the girl is young. I said no excuse, you’re all ignorant and have no clue how to deal with your mistakes and need training in customer service. It’s obvious that the employees dont want to be there. I walked out and I will NEVER return to this hood location.
I got to work downtown Atlanta a little late and my entire order was wrong!!! I simply ordered the burrito vlowels with chicken one with brown rice and one with white rice. I ended up with one steak with white rice, I don’t eat beef. And one chicken with some sauce on it and white rice. I took the order as a loss. This location is horrible. My second time here and my last. Other neighborhoods you get treated better as they strive on customer service.
I would suggest opening up another Chipotle in Sronecrest also. Thank you!
Nov 2024-I decided to make a review because when they do good, give them their props. Today I ordered a bowl with extra sour cream and salsa. I wasn’t expecting my order to be correct at all because of my previous negative experiences here….HOWEVER, I was surprised that my mobile order was exactly what I ordered. My bowl is delish. I don’t know who is working today on the mobile orders but you did a great job on my order. I wish I could request you by name!
