I don’t typically leave reviews but I’m disappointed in my order-ahead experience at the Lake Wylie Chipotle. Very small portions. It doesn’t fill the bowl and the protein portion isn’t even a full scoop. I would definitely order in person at this location to make sure you know what to expect when you open your bowl.

Went in for lunch today after seeing the advertised Carne Asada Bowl, which was shown as medium rare. Looked like the meat was fresh What I received did not match the limited-time item at all. The meat was well done and hard to chew. The chips were extremely stale as well. I’d rather go to Moe’s—their chips are free and fresh, and the meat is much better. First time, rather disappointing.

I’ve been to a few Chipotles in the area during their opening week (big fan of the chain) and this one was by far the best. They were moving orders on a very busy Friday evening like it’s been open for years. Everything seemed very well organized.
Kudos to the whole staff, but especially the guy handling online orders tonight. I didn’t catch his name, but he was so attentive to everyone and hand-delivered each person their order if they were waiting. Great experience, we will absolutely be back!

We will not be back. Every table was dirty. Trash cans were overflowing into the floor. No napkins. Employees behind the counter were chatting it up with no regard to the state of the dining room. Food was average at best. Extremely disappointing meal. Not sure I have been in to a restaurant that nasty.

Absolutely amazing first-day experience!
I ordered online and everything was perfect my food was hot, fresh, and ready right on time. The order was 100% accurate, which I really appreciate. When I stopped in to pick it up, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. You could tell they were excited to be open and really cared about giving great service.

I came to the soft opening and I was greeted with a smile all the way to the register. The staff energy was great. The food and portions was great.
The only thing I saw that could improve is staff interactions.
Front line is demanding and the team members could be new to it. Positive motivation should be given and positive corrections should be done in private.
One team member who did not smile and was very negetive in front of customers to team members to the point the customer beside me asked who is she and he said Jess.
Team members should be given positive motivation to keep confidence and morale up. This keeps the pressure off and its helps out put to go faster.
There are still good workers out there but you will not be able to keep them with someone like her, who seems like she will never give a good team member props.

Great food but the service and portions were disappointing, first visit, waited 8 or 9 minutes in line, felt rushed and saw the portion of steak for the price and couldn’t believe it, was offered a double portion which i accepted, although they didnt know extra charge, seemed like there wasn’t much to add that didn’t cost extra, no olives, no onions, extra charge for chips , drinks were very expensive , even for tea, steak was very good though and the rewards program helps a little, may be back if i can afford it , thank you.

Highest quality chipotle I’ve been to so far. Service was good, but I got a little jipped tbh, as expected for newer employees. Very modern interior and well designed parking lot. A little confusing at first to navigate to the proper place to line up.
