Extremely rude, young lady working register at 7:50pm today needs some customer service skills. She lied and said my card declined and I had never swiped my card. I had to tell her it won’t let me swipe, she came back over to the register after walking away before I even paid for the food. The guys making food seemed annoyed and didn’t want to be bothered. I asked for veggies on the bowls the person changing out the pans literally scooped the corner of the pan and aggressively dumped the veggies on my bowl. Everyone working seems mad. I won’t return to this location. Mayfaire and Ogden always display good customer service.

Subject: Extremely Rude Experience at Chipotle on Jan 29

I visited your Chipotle location on January 29th at approximately 10:30 PM, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at your restaurant.

As soon as my friend and I walked in, the employee at the register made an inappropriate comment along the lines of “bruh, the audacity,” which was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to say to customers.

Throughout our visit, the staff openly complained about not wanting to stay late and made it very clear they were upset that customers were still coming in. While I understand that no one enjoys working late shifts, choosing to work during those hours comes with the responsibility of treating customers respectfully.

The restaurant was also out of multiple items. When I mentioned to my friend that they didn’t have cheese, an employee responded by saying, “That’s because you came in 20 minutes before closing.” This comment was unnecessary, rude, and completely inappropriate.

This location is in a college town, where late-night customers should be expected. Customers should never be made to feel unwelcome or blamed for coming in during posted business hours. If employees do not wish to work night shifts, they should not accept those shifts — but taking that frustration out on customers is unacceptable.

The overall attitude of the staff was hostile and unprofessional, and something clearly needs to be addressed at this location. No customer should be treated this way simply for visiting during operating hours.

I hope this issue is taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve staff professionalism and customer service.

This location is a couple blocks from my home and I eat here a couple times a month. I went a few nights ago and the food prep area was filthy. There was food EVERYWHERE! All over the counters. This location is usually pretty busy because it’s in the middle of everything but there were definitely pockets of time that someone could’ve come through and made the food prep area look presentable. My burrito was also sopping wet and completely fell apart. The ends weren’t tucked properly. I’ve never had this type of experience at this location. And what’s worse is there were like 100 people working that night lol. I’m sorry but totally unacceptable to have that many people working and the place isn’t clean. And yes, the manager was on duty. She’s always there. I was shocked. Looked like a tornado had swept through. Hopefully this was just a bad night.

I normally have great experiences at Chipotle, which is why this one really disappointed me. My friend went in around 10:30 PM, and the store didn’t close until 11 PM, so it wasn’t after hours. Unfortunately, the experience felt rushed and uncomfortable.

The employee preparing our food seemed visibly annoyed the entire time—huffing and puffing—which made us feel unwelcome. They also didn’t mark the burritos, so we couldn’t tell which was which, and by the time we got them they were cold and barely edible. Neither of us even finished our food, which is rare for us.

I completely understand what it’s like to work late and want to close up—I’m a server myself—but there’s a big difference between being close to closing and actually being closed. If customers are still being served, they shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience.

On top of that, only chicken was available because they were already shutting down, which wasn’t communicated ahead of time. When you’re spending nearly $30 on two burritos, the expectation is at least warm food and decent service.

This was genuinely the worst Chipotle experience I’ve had, and I hope this location can improve their late-night service going forward.

On 2/17 I was there eating lunch and accidentally left my purse and did not realize it until 9 o’clock that night. My friend went to pick it up because I don’t drive at night. They returned my purse with nothing missing. Thanks for the good food and especially the honesty of your management staff.

So I tried Chipotle first time in my life. This would be the one I went to and I was looking very forward to it been seeing commercials for years never stopped to try a Chipotle until this time the other day. I’ll start off positive the customer service was impeccable, very helpful, super nice staff, overall 100 out of 100 on the customer service. So atmosphere the story where my food was being taken care of was very unsanitary and kind of cringey. If I hadn’t wanted to try this Chipotle so bad I would have definitely not gotten it just based on what I saw on the line as on telling them what I want on my bowl. So that’s definitely 50 out of 100. There is enough workers to have someone consistently keeping the place clean. And the food was disappointing, now I look great it really did I watched the guy as I’m waiting in line cooking fresh meat on the grill and it smells great the food looked good smelled good. So I do not know if there’s a connection here but I didn’t end up going home finishing my food after eating half of it there and shortly after I threw up a few times now I’m not saying it was the food at all. Please, truly understand I’m not saying their food did that to me. But thinking about that unsanitary line where they make your order I kind of have to be suspicious that it was because of that unsanitary which got me thinking how how’s the food sitting on that line sanitary if the line is not. You could say yes they’re busy it’s not that easy to keep it maintained but also could it possibly be that some of that food is along on the overhead has been pushed back into the bins the food is in. Yes I’m being dramatic I know but that’s part of the disappointment of wanting to try this place for years and being dissatisfied. Not only that I never go out to eat and then throw up but I did that day. But truly I would go back there and try it again. I never judge a place by the first go-round.

ADVICE TO ALL FUTURE PATRONS – go to the Leland or College Rd location (they are excellent!) You will regret it if you come to this location.

I rarely ever post negative reviews, but this experience should be shared so that future patrons and the manager/corporate can see and decide what they want to do. Chipotle is my favorite restaurant, and I’ve been to many locations across the US. I’ve given this location a few chances and every time it is worse and worse. This is by far the WORST Chipotle ever.

The staff is not friendly or professional.
There is always food dropped and smeared everywhere it’s like a 90s food fight scene happened in there. There’s like 50 employees behind the counter, a few just standing around. Why aren’t you helping to clean up?

I bet food costs for this location are high, because the staff just grabs and flings excessive amounts of ingredients everywhere. While I was there, an employee brought a refill of sour cream to the line and it was so overfull with a huge mound that it was just pouring down all sides of the container, and I thought surely they would pause for a second to wipe off the sides at least… but no. Shoved it right into the slot causing it to ooze into the surrounding ingredient containers. I’d hate to see how much food/bacteria they have growing in their cold wells.

There is also a lot of cross contamination happening with people not changing gloves after touching non food items then shoving their hands into cheese or all over burritos. I’m sure the health department would take one look at shut them down until they got it together.

I can usually forgive some mess and unfriendly staff, because I love Chipotle that much. But this was diabolical – the food was DISGUSTING.

None of the food was seasoned to chipotles standards. In fact, there is no seasoning in anything AT ALL. Not a single ingredient tastes like it has a single spec of seasoning. There is very obviously no cilantro or lime in the rice or the guacamole. No seasoning on any of the meat (we got steak, chicken, and barbacoa). No onion in the corn salsa. It’s like no one bothered to prep anything and just took the food out the fridge and slapped it on the bar. On top of that, they have no vinaigrette. The only flavor in our food is unseasoned black bean juice. I wish I was being dramatic. This food is nasty. We cannot eat it.

This is very obviously a management problem, because a good manager would never let their restaurant run like that.

I’ve been to this location before the past and have not returned for such a long time because it was such a poor experience. Danny or Dani, Forgive me for the spelling… Single-handedly made this place 10 times better. She was so kind and was quick to help with all of my questions and made a perfect meal for me. She created such a nice customer experience and also made the best chipotle bowl I’ve ever had!

Thank you

I used to never have problems at this place but recently everytime I mobile order my bowl is missing items. It’s now happened 3 times. When I have to go back inside and ask for what was missing they say they didn’t have it when the order was made but some how have it when I walk back inside. Several of the employees got an attitude and seemed annoyed for what reason I’m not sure…
