This particular Chipotle is the worst and last night was where I draw the line and will not go there again.
at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday night they announce that they have no lettuce. further down the wait line they announce that they have no tomatoes (I guess they meant Pico). When it was my turn they also ran out of guac. I went ahead and ordered 3 bowls with tortilla on the side as usual. Once I paid (as they were busy and very pushy with moving you down the line) I realized that the tortillas were not following the bowls, so I asked for them. The cashier said that she hadn’t charged me for the tortillas and “that’ll be $1.80” or something like that.
I then asked her that I was never charged extra for tortilla in the past and even if they were charging me extra before, I had no clue.
She then pretended like she can’t hear me or she doesn’t understand. I then told her (Loudly) that they ran out of half of the ingredients that were supposed to go in my bowl and now they have the audacity to charge me for the tortillas?
She just turned around and said “$1.80”.
Since I was already in the line and had the food, I just went ahead and paid it and moved on. I was also told by a few other people there that they agreed with me and that was “B.S.”.
NEVER AGAIN!
Line service appears to be fine, just wish I could get my food when it says it’s ready to pickup, and not 15-20 minutes after while needing to wait in front of the cashier.
Not only did this incident cause me to choke and experience severe discomfort in my throat, but it has left me feeling quite unwell. My health and safety were compromised by this unexpected discovery.
I have attached pictures of the plastic piece for reference. It’s unclear what the material is, which raises serious concerns about the quality control and safety standards in place at this Chipotle branch.
I intend to have the plastic and the remaining food tested to determine its composition and whether there are any additional risks to my health. I believe this issue requires immediate attention to ensure the well-being of all patrons.
I urge the Chipotle team to investigate this matter thoroughly and take swift action to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Safety should always be a top priority in the food industry.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious issue.
