I stopped by this chipotle in Fairfax, Virginia for dinner and had a pretty good experience overall. It’s located in a neighbourhood shopping centre and there was plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly and the selection of items was very fresh. I ordered a steak bowl with extra guac and the staff prepared it in a matter of minutes. Everything was top-notch. The only complaint I have is that there is no regular seating – it was primarily seating on stools. Aside from that, everything else was fine. Good place to stop by if you’re in the area and are in the mood for high-quality, Mexican food.

The food was good, but unfortunately every table was dirty. They all had a sticky residue, and there were crumbs left from previous diners. It looked like the staff are busy fulfilling orders. It would be great if they had someone clearing tables, because it really detracted from the experience.

Used to be a good Chipotle location. But in the last two times we visited, the food was way too salty and the service is disorganized. They always forget something or mix up orders. Taste and service is not consistent at all with other locations in the area. Really tried to give it another chance but I would avoid this location if possible until they follow standard protocols again.

I have to say that this location is a shame. The customer service is bad. As I was in front of the bar order. There is no one notice me until I say “hi” loudly. And my burrito was terrible. The rice is undercooked and the sprite has only carbonated water. There is no sweetness, there is no tasting in my drink :))

It’s good as long as you don’t order online. Employees are nice and will be accommodating to your order. It’s rather loud inside, but there’s good outdoor seating

Honestly, regret going to this chipotle. The food was cold and tasted nasty. There was no ice in the soda machine and the restaurant was pretty dirty…trash on the floor and overflowing from trash can. Hope I don’t get sick after eating there.

If you enjoy spending 20-30 minutes to get your mobile order ready, all the while a dozen or so walk-ins place and get their order before you, then stop on by!

Employees are unhelpful and ignore you unless you’re at the register with your money in hand. I asked for my order status and was rudely told, “We’re working on it.”

Workers have zero sense of urgency, and it shows in the absurd wait times!

So far the only location with very consistent FAST turnaround times is Chipotle at Fair Lakes next to Ulta, Best Buy, and Guapo’s. 9/10 times my mobile order is waiting on me.

Easily the worst chipotle experience I have ever had. This store was essentially unmanaged, meaning there did not seem to be any leadership present. They were out of all beans and tortillas along with many other items. We were forced to get bowls and they didn’t have lids, so they used tin foil and squished our bowls. Finally, the staff looked terribly over worked. They were reusing old silverware/dishes was there a literal mountain of dishes in the back. It was terrible.

See my photos.

Chipotle has high standards and this store simply did not hold up.

I eat at Chipotles around the DC area once a week. It’s taken a while for me to be pushed to write a review about this location because I understand there are times when they so slammed that everyone’s doing the best they can.

However, this location is consistently bad. As other people have said, their flavor is dialed down and their portions are terrible. Always.

Recently, I went through the line to get food for myself and for my Mom. There were slight pauses in my ordering because I had to keep referring to my Mom’s order in my phone. My ordering speed, which was still fairly fast, annoyed the person working the prep station (there were two customers behind me.. it was like 3pm?).

I ordered a veggie bowl for my Mom. When we got down to the end, I forgot to say guac because guac is a part of the veggie bowls. Of course, guac was omitted and the person didn’t double check with me. Below is a picture of the sad veggie bowl as it looked when my Mom opened it at home.

This is not the norm for Chipotle. As a service industry worker, I understand that kitchens are hurting hard right now and customers can be awful. But my god, if your company’s business model is a prep station with human to human contact, then please prioritize customer service. Don’t make customers who seek out the face-to-face over online ordering feel like just a rushed annoyance. Please.. there’s enough of that in the world.
