A friendly smile can go a long way. Unfortunately for this location in Edgewater, they have totally missed the mark. Everyone seemed very angry and uninviting. There were no utensils available. No ice. The entire place was covered in food. Every single table was a mess. Customer service is just as important as cleanliness. Especially at a food establishment.

The food was disgusting. Sitting in water all day there guacamole was fully brown. If you go there 3 hours before close…..good luck!! You’ll get food poisoning there it’s so gross. Brown food sitting on the serving counter. There was mold on the guac it sat so long.

The problem is probably the regional manager as all Chipotle’s in Annapolis are poorly run. It starts at the top. This one is even worse than the one in the Annapolis Mall. The main problem at this location is the overwhelmed staff. The workers are completely understaffed and lack training. It’s not their fault. They shouldn’t be put out there by themselves without an experienced staff member supporting them. Don’t go here. It takes forever to get your food, they are frequently out of items, and they put all their attention on to-go orders. Their process is completely broken and the blame for that should start at the top.

We will not return to this location. This is the second time they have been out of main ingredients. They didn’t have black beans, they didn’t have lettuce. They did have lettuce for the online orders at the online counter. But wouldn’t use any of that lettuce for customers standing in line at the store. We were told, that lettuce is for online orders. Then they were out of chips. The store was also a wreck. Napkins and straw wrappers all over the floor around the tables. A very young staff working and seemed very confused on how to handle it’s customers. Several customers in front of us walked out.

What is the point of online ordering when it is much, much faster to just wait in line?? 30 minutes to get a burrito bowl and chips, really (15 mins after ordering + another 15 after pickup time). Not to mention it was the worst burrito bowl I have ever had in my life. It definitely wasn’t the chicken that I ordered, maybe pork. IDK, but it was fatty, tasted awful and was just plain gross. Not going to this Chipotle ever again.

They are either out of guacamole or queso cheese. Yesterday they were out of lettuce also. Kind of language barrier. Not sure the employees understood everything I said. I love eating there, but shouldn’t be out of product and also coke was out.
