No shade but whoever is over seasoning the food needs to stop this is the third time I’ve ordered from there and experience this. First two times was the rice tasting too much like cilantro and lemon. And don’t get me wrong I love the two but it’s way too much. This time today the rice was fine but the chicken was waayyyy too salty. I usually never make reviews but something needs to be said.

The Stuyvesant Plaza Chipotle was embarrassing. An elementary school lunch room looks better than this place. Food on the floor and tables. All trash bins were full to the brim and the soda fountain and utensil area was a hot mess!
The people were over worked and rushed. I don’t fault the workers. They are not appreciated. I saw no management coaching. So sad!

As a delivery driver, I was disappointed with the condition of Chipotle’s dining area and kitchen yesterday. A 20-minute delay occurred in collecting a customer’s order due to insufficient staffing, with only three workers present. The location was overcrowded with SUNY students waiting to be served, and I was surprised that they seemed tolerant of the unwashed tables. The floors were also in a deplorable state. Despite being severely understaffed, the workers performed admirably. As someone who regularly collects DoorDash orders, I can attest that this location is consistently unclean. Furthermore, my experiences at the Chipotle in Rensselaer, NY, have been similarly underwhelming, with a filthy kitchen and overflowing trash in both the kitchen and dining areas. I firmly believe that the owners must take immediate action to rectify these issues. Conversely, my experiences collecting orders from Chick-fil-A have consistently been positive, with a clean and well-maintained environment. It is crucial that certain establishments elevate their standards to provide a better experience for customers, employees, and delivery personnel.

When I put a 1 star right now, it is for all aspects of this location on a very consistent basis (I generally order from there at least once a week because I work close by). Their workers are lazy and don’t care, the place is dirty and they consistently mess up my order every single time that I go there. Generally I just get an order of queso and chips. They cannot even get that right. I got a half full portion last time with a huge chunk of unknown meat in it. The time before my chips were inedible because they weren’t cooked enough, the time before that they were overcooked, and the time before that they just “never received my order.” A few weeks ago when I went there, the manager didn’t show up and the workers locked the store and weren’t letting customers in and were handing out to go orders on the street lol. And if you try to rate the order or complain, the app will just take you through a generic form and won’t refund you or offer any sort of solution. Seriously, this place should not exist, the franchise owner has no business in the customer service industry. I will not ever go to this location again. If you google chipotle stuyvesant, you will see multiple other Reddit users commenting on how horrible this location is. Disgusting.

Lacking in customer service severely. I asked for double protein, chicken & steak and was told because they close in 45 minutes, they’re not making anymore steak. Mind you 3 people after me also asked for steak. I feel like that was very inconsiderate. I understand wanting to get out on time, but to a certain extent. I can also understand not wanting to make a whole order for 1 singular person… but that wasn’t the case. They either need more people working with them at night or a MANAGER on.

I was on the phone attempting to place an order and after the woman I was speaking to for 17 minutes finally got my order correct (she messed it up 4 times prior) after I had entered my payment method with her I was informed that they were not taking call in orders at the time and after telling her I was upset with the service politely she simply hung up on me and never took my order. Point of the story worst customer service I have ever experienced.

How is it possible for to run out of staple ingredients like sour cream and cheese all the time I love chipotle I love their food. I love eating there and it sucks because I don’t understand how they don’t know how to have the ingredients on hand that they need. This has happened so much like……. Wth. The cleanliness of the place was extremely filthy. Additionally, I was shocked by the small portion size; I’ve never encountered such a meager serving anywhere else. To top it off, the rice was not fully cooked.
