I visited this location today and was genuinely surprised by how small the portion sizes were. My friend had to order chicken on the side and double chicken just to get what should have been a normal amount, and even then it was barely a few pieces.
On top of that, the chicken was extremely overcooked and charred. I politely mentioned this to the employee at the counter and simply asked if it would be possible to receive a little more. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, an older employee responded with unnecessary hostility.
Overall, the food quality and customer service were both disappointing. I hope management takes steps to improve portion consistency and how customer concerns are handled.

This is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. It wasn’t always like this, but something has clearly changed—and not for the better. The service alone is enough to make you lose your appetite. I’ve never dealt with such hostility and lack of basic customer care. The meat portions are an absolute joke. Paying $12 for what is essentially a bowl of rice and cheese is ridiculous. When I ask for double chicken, I still get what looks like a single, skimpy serving. It feels like the employees are guarding the chicken as if it’s coming out of their own pockets. I even told the young white male employee that was behind the counter tonight that he barely gave me any chicken and asked if he could add a little more. Instead of fixing it, he gave me attitude and insisted that the tiny dollop he served was “enough.” Excuse me? That’s not what I’m paying for. What makes it worse is the overall attitude. I’ve genuinely never encountered such rude, unfriendly staff and I work in hospitality myself. There’s a clear lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. This location used to be generous with portions and kind to customers, but it has seriously gone downhill. Between the tiny servings and the poor service, it’s not worth the money or the frustration. Trust me and take your business elsewhere.

very disappointed in this locations service… i frequent this Chipotle and many others across NJ quite often, as I’m on the road working a lot. Im a big Chipotle fan the food is delicious.
But not yesterday, i stopped in the Westfield location and it was so upsetting. The guy doing the food line looked new, flustered & stressed..no other coworkers were around to help him, everyone seemed “busy” in the back. their portions were a lot less compared to other locations (mind you I’ve never had an issue before) the rice was hard, food was cold. was charged for a side of sour cream when they arent supposed to charge, it was not inside my bowl. I had to explain myself 5x to a bunch of different employees who all came out at once when they realized there was an issue. upon asking for a refund and returning the sour cream i was given an attitude and facial expressions were made. Such a shame that this location has declined within just a few months

I was ordering my normal bowl with a side tortilla. When I asked for my side tortilla I was given a sigh from the worker. After this, I asked for half white and half brown rice, this worker sighed again, and continued to tell his worker friend to upcharge when I only got chicken. This service and atmosphere is so toxic. Please do better chipotle, hire better workers who are not rude to the people.

Listen, I’m the type of gal who would usually dig chipotle, but this?? Absolutely not. First of all, there were chunks of cilantro and way too much lime in both the rice, and pico. Some pieces literally weren’t cilantro or at least didn’t taste like it. It looked like straight up moss. But that’s only the looks, the taste was even worse. I don’t even wanna talk about it. The young man behind the counter barely gave me anything worst portion ever. And I told him my order several times and he couldn’t comprehend it and still got it wrong

The staff ran out of chicken when starting our order. They scraped the container then completed the bowl. We asked to have the missing protein in a cup and they proceeded to charge an additional $5 dollars. Money hungry and inconsiderate decision that warrants this feedback. I’m not surprised they are rated 3 stars. Low is an understatement.

Food is average chipotle food. It gets absurd though when I pay 15 dollars for a bowl and can’t even get a water cup. I will not be spending my money at an establishment that doesn’t value its guests enough to give them water. Such a shame. Workers are also incredibly unfriendly and rude. I have never been to a restaurant where the people working there are so insufferable, unintelligent, and mean. A worker sighed when I asked for half white half brown rice, and looked visibly annoyed. There’s a reason this chipotle has such negative reviews despite it literally just being a chipotle.

I’ve been here a couple of times. The food is pretty consistent. With these buffet style quick serve restaurants, be careful not too come late in the day when inventory can run low. Haven’t experienced this at Westfield so far. Excellent selection of fresh veggie options and salads. Love the hot spicy sauces and the mexican grill style flavours for the proteins. For about $10 you can get a really healthy dish here.

This is truly one of the worst Chipotles I have experienced. We have reluctantly ordered from it over the past couple years and the quality has consistently eroded. Items missing on order regularly, stale chips, sloppy reckless packaging, etc. It simply is mismanaged and supervised, which is a shame considering the demographics of Westfield. This place should own the takeout scene in Westfield, but obviously, their low google rating says a lot about their level service. I prefer Chipotle typically, but I will be trying Qdoba from now on.
