This Chipotle on New Britain Avenue in West Hartford is a disgrace to the brand. The staff at the register are unfriendly and dismissive, and the restaurant is absolutely filthy—tables greasy and covered in food, floors full of debris, and the drink station overflowing with trash, napkins, and spilled liquid. It’s disgusting and unacceptable.

What makes this even worse is the owner’s complete lack of accountability. Look at the negative reviews—people have been complaining about the SAME issues for months, and all the owner ever does is post a canned response with a link to file a complaint. That is not taking responsibility. That is laziness and avoidance. Customers deserve an apology, real changes, and proof that management cares. Clearly, they don’t.

I’ve already reached out to corporate about this location because it’s obvious the owner has no intention of fixing the problems. Chipotle corporate needs to seriously reconsider who they allow to run this location. If you care about cleanliness, service, or basic respect as a customer, avoid this Chipotle.

I had a coupon for chips and queso. The lady rang them up separate so when I went to use the coupon, it only took off the queso which was 295 after realizing that the manager said she would just refund me 295 but chips and queso is 510 according to the menu. There seems to be a miscommunication and she was telling me that I was wrong. I would only get back to 295 or she’ll just take the queso back. after just refunding me I was unable to use the coupon and she said she was looking out for me, but you didn’t take the 295 so there’s nothing I can do. Now I paid the full price for everything and I’m out of my 800 point reward. It seems as though me asking, clarifying questions as I have not use rewards yet was of a disturbance to her, and she had a really nasty attitude. I already second-guess coming to this location because I never have a good experience, but it was closest to my job and I definitely regret it. I think this place needs a lot of training on customer service and should reevaluate who they hire. I will never be coming back to this location. And she also did not give me any of the receipts that had all the pricing on it

I was at this location today with my kids, and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The employees were not paying attention at all. I had to speak loudly to place our order, and even then, they kept asking me to repeat the exact instructions. They were busy talking among themselves and seemed annoyed with me for simply ordering my food right in front of my kids.

On top of that, after we finally finished ordering, they refused to accept a $50 bill. I was lucky I had my credit card with me at that moment; otherwise, I would have had to leave the food behind after all that trouble. I can’t imagine how much food gets wasted every day if other customers end up in the same situation.

This is extremely poor management and terrible customer service. As a business owner myself, I genuinely feel bad for the owner because the staff is ruining the business. I wish I could give zero stars. We will not be returning to this location.

I just went and the lady handed my burrito off and the next lady just wrapped it up without asking me if I wanted anything else. I told the cashier and she said I can get some sides in a cup if I wanted to but what was I suppose to do get 10 sides in cups?

Most of the time they make my food correctly. I always check the bag before leaving just in case though. The only problem I have are the workers, one in particular who seems to not understand if you don’t like working & interacting with customers regarding their order.. maybe do a self evaluation.

I don’t usually add reviews to restaurants but this was really upsetting. I never usually go to this Chipotle and I don’t plan on coming back. I ordered a Quesadilla with extra rice and when I pulled it out of the bag I was very disappointed. There was the tiniest container of rice (similar to the size of a cup you would get ketchup in a restaurant) and the quesadilla was half the size it usually is. The food was good but not for the $14 I paid.

Food pictured is from the Southington, CT location but this review is specific to the West Hartford (Corbin’s Corner) location.

After a horrible experience at a sit down restaurant and ultimately leaving without having dinner I visited the Southington, CT Chipotle to get a meal to go (Chicken Bowl). I then drive back home 6.8 miles, got inside, sat at the dining table and went to eat my meal. First bite and found the chicken was burned; it even smelled burned.

Tried calling the West Hartford (Corbin’s Corner) location to see if they would remake it so I didn’t waste a trip but couldn’t get anyone on the phone so just decide to take a chance and drive down; figured since all Chipotle locations are corporate owned that they would just remake it and all would be good.

Well…. Got to the Corbin’s Corner location 2.6 miles from my house and asked if they could remake it. The employee grabbed the shift lead / manager (not sure what her title was). She said they couldn’t because I didn’t order from their store and that it wasn’t an online order pickup. Flabbergasted I stated that they are all corporate owned so why is it an issue? Chipotle as a company has my money and the store isn’t franchised so made no sense. The employees even confirmed the store is corporate owned and the girl I was speaking with even confirmed (in shock) that the food was burned and smelled burned. She contacted her AP (I believe she called it) and they said they couldn’t not remake it. Needless to say I wasn’t happy and was very confused. The girl then said she could remake it if I wanted to pay for it or I could leave her a $10 tip and she’d override the food at the register…. YES she would remake my food if I have her a $10 tip but wouldn’t remake it if I didn’t… Basically was bribed / extorted.

I reached out to Chipotle customer support and requested a callback from a corporate employee. I was told in the email as you can see that if a manager decided to call me they would… Well excuse me…. Guess Chipotle is doing so great they could care less about any customer services issue.

I won’t be returning.

Honestly, this was the worst Chipotle experience I’ve ever had. The lettuce, chips, and salsa were all missing from our order. The woman who took the order didn’t really understand what I was asking, and it was difficult to communicate food allergies. I would not go back to this location.
