I have always enjoyed eating at Chipotle until today. My friend wanted a Steak bowl and the steak in the container was dry and old. They made fresh steak and put the old on top. We asked for her to give the fresh steak and she refused saying she had to use the old first. We pleaded with her but still refused. Who’s paying for it?? Not her!!! They are expensive as it is. I want fresh. I now go to Bueno Burrito in Rutland. Better price and fresh ingredients. Also very friendly!!

Ammon went above and beyond in serving my family today at lunch. I have a severe gluten sensitivity and asked that he please change his gloves before starting my order. He not only happily washed his hands and changed his gloves but also wiped down the prep area, used clean utensils for the meat and fajita veggies, and served my sour cream, corn salsa, and lettuce from a new container to help ensure as little cross contamination as possible. 5 ⭐️ all day long for customer service!!! He was also super friendly through the whole experience.
Our food was wonderful and the quality that we would expect from chipotle, with their generous portions.
The atmosphere was very nice with the exception of most of tables being in need of a wipe down. (Hence the 4 stars for atmosphere,) The rest of the establishment was very clean.

I just had one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at a Chipotle. The restaurant itself was clean, but the staff could not have cared less about the customers. The portion sizes were honestly ridiculous — even after I specifically asked for more, my bowl was still half empty. The workers moved like they were being forced to do the bare minimum and couldn’t be bothered to listen or make it right.
I’ve been to plenty of Chipotle locations and this was by far the worst service and the stingiest portions I’ve ever seen. If this is how this location is run, I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Absolutely filthy, disgusting. For only being open for two hours the place was in shambles. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in 2 years. Health inspectors missed this one

Usually you pick a restaurant like Chipotle because you know what to expect. It’s not the cheapest but the food is quality and the portions are good. However, the Rutland location seems to have done away with one of those requirements without reducing the cost. I have attached a picture so you can be your own judge, but the portions at this location are incredibly inadequate for the price. When I asked about it, the two employees at the location told me, “no, the portion sizes look about right.” So either Chipotle has seriously cut back on portion sizes or this location is not following corporate recommendations. Either way it’s not worth the cost and I will not be back to the Rutland Chipotle and will seriously consider whether it is worth the risk at other locations as well. Seriously disappointed in this experience.

My wife and I have been coming to this chipotle for two years now. More often than not, we are extremely let down. You never know when they’re going to be open or closed. Living 40 minutes away, it’s the worst driving all the way here to find the doors locked during posted business hours. Also, they are ALWAYS out of ingredients. Be prepared for them to be out of queso, rice, certain meats, etc.
The portions are an absolute joke. Today, I ordered double steak, and the employee filled one small plastic cup with steak and said it was double. I literally laughed and said nope you need to put another scoop at least. I then ordered guac and she put the smallest little dab of guac it barely covered the tip of the spoon she was using. I gave up and accepted it. The bill came out to $40 for a bowl and 3 tacos.
Also, today the place was disgusting, the trash was overflowing, and all the employees were standing around not very busy. There were no utensils out either and when I asked for a fork I was handed one by the man at the register with his bare hand. I let him know they were out of utensils out front and nothing was done about it the entire time we sat and ate our food.
Chipotle, please do something about this location. It is a sad representation of what used to be a decent brand.

I’m surprised this chipotle has such a low rating- my burrito and chips were perfect. A LOT of restaurants (other chipotle locations included) don’t make the chips as good. Workers were nice & very accommodating. The place seemed clean to me, but I took mine to go. Don’t sleep on this location!

The lady with a blue bun and glasses seemed to be intoxicated while serving my friends and I. She was practically falling asleep while scooping and was sluring her words. Her eyes were a main give away. It’s quite disturbing as a customer walking in to an establishment and getting served by someone who is clearly intoxicated
