decided to place my pick up order from here today, but quickly regretted it. first off, the inside is actually nice, modern and pretty clean. (compared to the shopper’s world location which is a mess) the food, however, was a miss today. the only thing that was okay was my chicken burrito. ordered a carne asada quesadilla and the meat was so over cooked it literally looked black on the outside. (pics for proof) it’s borderline inedible. bag of tortillas chips is mostly soft, half cooked tortilla chips that also lack the signature chipotle lime salt seasoning. the guac tastes like so much onion! no acidity from lime, no salt, just onion.
i’d recommend sticking to shopper’s world location for now because it’s just consistent. i know this place is new, but hire people that actually know how to cook and season food, pls.
I am writing this review about the Chipotle at 573 Worcester Rd #2, Framingham, MA (Route 9), a brand-new location, and I am beyond disappointed with what I witnessed today.
I was helped by an associate named Leticia, who was absolutely AMAZING. She was polite, professional, friendly, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. I simply asked for extra cheese on my bowl, and she did exactly what a good employee should do — she listened to the customer and did her job well.
The problem started when the manager, Rafael, stepped in as she was closing my bowl. He began humiliating and mistreating her in Portuguese, clearly assuming the customer would not understand what he was saying. Unfortunately for him, I do understand Portuguese fluently, and I understood everything he said.
What I heard was disrespectful, degrading, and completely unprofessional. He was speaking poorly to his employee for doing nothing more than following a customer request. A manager should lead, inspire, and support their team, not bully them, especially not in another language to try to hide it from customers.
I immediately defended Leticia and told Rafael — in Portuguese — that I understood him and that his behavior was unacceptable. Instead of correcting himself, he became arrogant, rude, and even more unprofessional toward me, the customer.
I was so uncomfortable watching him mistreat his employee that I actually asked the cashier to charge me for the extra cheese, just so Leticia wouldn’t get in trouble — that should NEVER be necessary.
Leticia did nothing wrong. She deserves recognition.
Rafael, on the other hand, should not be a manager at this location or anywhere in Chipotle. His behavior was embarrassing for the company and completely against what Chipotle stands for.
I love Chipotle. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. But I am honestly shocked and disgusted that Chipotle would allow a manager like this to represent the brand. This man should not be in a leadership role, period.
Do better. Employees deserve respect.
First off, I ask for a steak burrito. Portions are next to nothing. I get no rice, lettuce, cheese or guacamole. I’m not sure who trained these guys but step it up. I eat at chipotle like 10x a month, and I’m never stingy. This was ridiculous, especially for $14.
Secondly, my burrito is half wrapped into a ball that just fell apart. It’s like they didn’t even try
Thirdly, they’re out of water cups. Not the type of guy to fill it with soda, I don’t even like soda. So I proceed to ask for regular cup so my mouth isn’t on fire. Nope, get blown up at and told I need to pay the $2 for the cup. Not happening.
Literally just drive the extra 5 minutes down the road.
The rest of the staff are great — hardworking, respectful, and efficient. The restaurant itself is clean and visually pleasant, but the manager’s attitude completely ruins the atmosphere. Mariana is not only disrespectful to her team but also rude to customers, creating a very negative environment.
If this kind of leadership continues, the store may lose both excellent employees and loyal customers. A healthy workplace starts with respectful leadership — and that is clearly missing here.
