Avoid the sushi!!! We’ve eaten at the restaurant in the past and had an incredible experience. However, it seems like the sushi team is completely different and the quality of the fish is frightening. On a recent takeout order, we spent $27 on a sashimi entree and received 9 pieces of thinly sliced fish that were gray and had a slimy, green film on them…definitely not fresh! Also, we ordered several maki rolls and they were poorly made and largely rice. After spending $92, we ended up throwing away the entire order as we didn’t want to get sick.

The worst restaurant i’ve ever been to in my 22 years on this earth. i’ve been to sushi places all across the US, and this almost made me throw up. first off, they took over an hour to get us our entrees after we ordered. they gave us a menu and then told us they didn’t have any of the stuff on that menu, then gave us another and almost every single roll out of 6 choices of rolls was some variation of salmon and cream cheese. yuck. authentic sushi doesn’t have cream cheese, there are no authentic options! the sushi was clearly canned fish, too, no real fish was to be seen. that’s why they have sashimi and nigiri on the menu, yet when you order it, they say they don’t have it. how do you not have a slab of salmon when you’re advertising salmon sushi? both rolls we ordered were not real fish, just weird minced meat looking stuff. not to mention they were completely falling apart, they saw this and still chose to serve them to us. we couldn’t even pick them up. they put them on the table and we had to hold back from laughing. $16 for each roll and they were inedible! when we complained to the manager, he wouldn’t give us our money back even though we didn’t eat the food. he never apologized, he was just defensive and rude. i genuinely don’t know how this place is open. please go literally anywhere else, for cheaper and better fare.

We had a group of 18 for lunch on Saturday and had THE BEST time at Chinuk! The service was great the outdoor space was perfect for our large group that included elementary aged kids. We could have just eaten the appetizers and been one happy bunch but we didn’t stop there. Both taco’s and sushi were ordered and all was delicious AND beautifully presented. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Great atmosphere, they had music, drinks, and food on the rooftop. We had some drinks, we ordered dinner. All was well until we got our food. I’d give 0 stars if I could… My husband ordered the steak medium rare, it came out well done, harder than a hockey puck, and burnt. He never takes his food back, but in this instance, it was not edible… the second steak came out medium well… he hates complaining about his food, so he attempted to eat it. This was the driest ribeye I’ve ever tried, the flavor was bunt and charred. Worst $32 spent.. definitely not worth it if it can’t be cooked correctly…. if a meal is sent back for being cooked incorrectly, at least check it before you send it off to the customer!! Absolutely awful… the guacamole also had 0 salt and was completely bland… the grocery store guacamole has more flavor than theirs… just horrible and disappointing….

Great place! We’ve been a few times and had great tacos and sushi. More recently they seem to have expanded the range of options, so you don’t have to be a sushi or taco fan to go there. Added some nice apps and entrees. Will definitely go back to check them all out.

Been here a few time since I live out here…. This place has been decent considering the location, however; was halfway through my meal and found a hair In my food…. I did not complain when they only took 50% off my meal (I paid for the rest of the food and drinks which is only fair). I will not be returning unfortunately due to this fact. It’s inconvenient having to drive to Milwaukee for good food but, this does not happen for me in Milwaukee. I will say all the servers are excellent!

We went here for lunch and it was so lovely! We were a little disappointed that sushi was not served during lunch hours but honestly the tacos and poke bowls we ordered more than made up for it. The vegan Korean Brussel sprout tacos were amazing! There was no lack of flavor. And I heard the soft shelled crab tacos and shrimp tacos were also fantastic! The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is great.

The food and drinks we got were great! Everything was delicious. The service needs some work though. Would’ve easily ordered twice the amount of food and drinks had the server come back to check on our table. Our food order was likely lost considering how long it took to make but the server never owned up to it and the kitchen closed before we could order more. Left the restaurant feeling hungry. Disappointing
