Chinooks is one of my favorite go to seafood restaurants in Seattle. There is usually room in the bar area to sit. They have tvs with the games on of you want that. The food is always great. I’ve eaten my way through the menu and haven’t had a bad item yet. The bread is amazing for sopping up extra Alfredo sauce, or scampi butter. The Key Lime Pie is a slice of heaven, very flavorful. And when you’re all done filling your gullet you can talk a walk around the harbor to help you digest the food and take in the boats. For anyone looking for a great restaurant this one odd a good bet.

Really enjoyed this place! The seafood was super fresh and delicious, and the portions were just right. The focaccia bread was amazing — definitely a must-try. Service was friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Dad’s favorite restaurant and good memories with my family. Can’t wait to go back!

Chinooks is situated in the middle of a bunch of other businesses similar to a strip mall but it has nice open views inside of the marina. The ships that were on deadliest catch often dock here and there are pictures of them on the walls. The complimentary bread they serve is very good and my friends’ seafood pasta was very good with a lemon sauce. We went on a monday and they had reasonably priced all you can eat fish and chips that were tasty as well. However, I was trying to decide between rock shrimp tacos and the halibut, and the server strongly urged me to get the halibut. It was double the price of the tacos at around 60 bucks. I was very disappointed. It had a pineapple salsa on top but otuer than that it was very dry and flavorless. I expected a lot out of fresh washington seafood and It did not deliver. I do wish i had gone with the tacos.

Very disappointed. One of our group remembered our take out visit a few years ago and really wanted to return. The service was excellent. We enjoyed a window seat. Received extra bread while waiting. The fried calamari was limpy soft. The food was just not that good. The cod fish and chips were just ok. My ravenous son did not finish his. Our guest who really wanted to return only said “it’s light” twice when I asked how it tasted. My coppino had small pieces of a bit overcooked, a bit fishy fish. There were quite a few mussels and a small amount of calms. Not a single shrimp. No crab, no scallops. Broth salty. I was hoping for better food for the prices.

The fish was very good! Soft white meat with a crispy batter. The white Clam Chowder was delicious! Thick, lots of clams, the cole slaw is not mayo based, lite and fresh citrus with crunch!
This will become a regular stop

This place has so many windows, there is not a bad seat in the house! We got a table right at the window, and had a beautiful view of the docked boats. We started with a Bloody Mary and lemonade. They were both delicious. They serve a bread basket as soon as they bring drinks. We ordered oysters to start which were great! Fish n chips were a solid 8 out of 10 and the rock fish tacos were good, they had pineapples, mangos, and kiwi on them, different but good. We would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again

I visited here! Finally! It’s at the fisherman’s terminal, with a big complex with other businesses. There’s plenty of parking! There was a five minute wait. Our hosts were sweet and we felt very welcomed here. It was a beautiful and well lit evening- the sunset was unbelievable. They have a lot of window seating available by the dock. We got the oysters to start with- Kumamoto and Anthony select. They both were sweet and fresh. We ordered caesar salad, lingcod fish and chips; and crab-prawn fettuccine. The salad was fresh and creamy – we gobbled it up in minutes. The fish was flaky and so fresh. The fries were really crispy and well seasoned. The pasta was creamy and the crab was juicy and fresh. We were also served complimentary garlic bread- it was heavenly. So soft and pliable! For drinks, we got a seasonal dreamy sunset – coconut pineapple drink and pilsner. The mocktail was outstanding- it’s highly recommended. We got a hot fudge sundae for dessert, sending me back to 1980s – a beautiful end to our evening. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We went for lunch on a Thursday. Ample parking, very good service. The food was outstanding!! You’re right on the wharf so you have a good view of the boats. We had the clams and muscles, salmon, and chips lin cod and chips. I had the seared scallops. The scallops were awesome!!
Our server Oliver was very personable. He helped us with the menu and answered all our questions. (He suggested the scallops I was vey glad he did).

We had a wonderful lunch. After lunch we went home and took a nap.

Thanks Chinook’s!!

First timer here, after getting fresh fish from around the corner. Went to the mini Chinooks that outside. Very nice workers, and fast service. I got the clam, cod and shrimp combo with fries and a poppyseed coleslaw. Everything was really good but I think the coleslaw could have used a bit more flavor. My friends got fish and fries and also a salmon taco which was really good. Seasonal strawberry lemonade was really nice too. The chowder was tasty. You get a choice of red or white, I mixed the 2. Will definitely go back.

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Chinooks. The restaurant is walk-in only. My partner and I were a little nervous getting there around 7pm on a Friday, but we were quickly seated by the big windows overlooking the boats. Our server, Oliver, was very attentive and gave some great recommendations when it came to both drinks and entrees. The Barbecued Garlic Prawns is a delicious appetizer to share. Be sure to use the basket of focaccia they give you to soak up the juices. The Rhuby Drop has touch of sweetness , but is not overly sugary. The Halibut Fish and Chips are so fluffy and delicious. The Alaska Black Cod has a nice crust on top and is very tender. Don’t skip out on dessert—the homemade key lime pie is very tasty. Oliver was very kind and offered us coffee after our meal. With 2 drinks, an appetizer, 2 entrees and dessert—total was about $140. Overall, this dining experience was a nice way to end the week. We will be back soon!
