There wasn’t many patrons when i arrived. I asked the girl taking my order to suggest something because I had never been there before. She suggested the birria tacos; 4 on my plate were delicious, continued my order…asked for shot of Patron gold, the manager/possibly owner offer to pour it when I said I preferred Cuervo and was told shipment would be the next day..I laughed and said my birthday was today (2/5), I then asked for dessert choices and was told Churros or Tres Leche cake, opted for the cake, then I was offered chips and salsa. Bottom line, meal was delicious, did 1/2 the shot, made my birthday wish and had the most delicious creamiest Tres Leches cake then finished my Patron. Atmosphere was perfect, music was playing, and enjoyed my birthday in peace! Service and servers were pleasant, friendly, and helpful.

My family and I recently discovered this place and I was impressed with the friendly staff, artsy clean atmosphere, and food offerings. Being gluten sensitive its often difficult to find places with gluten free options but the corn tortillas I was told are gluten free. I especially like the fish tortillas and el pastor. the guacamole and chips are fresh and tasty.
I give 4 stars only because recently I returned back with a friend for lunch and noticed when I got my receipt we were charged for chips and guacamole/salsa however we did not request this item. Every time I’ve visited this has been given with our meal at no extra charge (unless it was not disclosed they would be adding this on). I had paid for what I thought was two 3 tortilla orders totaling $20 something only for the girl to return and indicate she didn’t process for 3 tacos for each person. Thats when I noticed on the receipt she had charged additional for the guac and chips but we never requested that. I love this place but I wish there was more transparency because that added another $6-7 for the total bill.

Omgggg!! The food is so absolutely delicious it’s unreal!! I am a Mexican food connoisseur in this place is a whole nother level!! Unlike any other place! The menu is amazing I literally want everything on it lol I usually go for a gordita! And a sope. The salsa bar is awesome with so many delicious authentic toppings and salsa! The music playing is awesome fun and upbeat! Large open clean atmosphere and very friendly service!! I absolutely seriously love this restaurant!!

The service is very good. José was very attentive to our table needs. Please cone hungry, food is delicious and servings are good size. Definitely, flavor and quality matches the price. Drinks!! Very refreshing and well balanced.

I had the rib tacos my first time there with that yummy dipping sauce and chips and dip mmmmm so good I also had 2 pineapple juices while I was there that came with free refills!!! I’m excited to go back!!! I may end up doing my birthdays here!!! I’m hooked!!

This place has some of the best tacos I’ve had in North Carolina. The service was great and I loved having my meal on an actual plate. The homemade tacos were over the top. It was refreshing to have someone’s abuela in there making them too.

In Leland we only have 2 Mexican restaurants. Chingon is definitely my 1st pick. Don’t get me wrong, I like the other place too. But tonight was the birthday girls choice. You get plenty of food for the price. The margaritas are delicious as well. I do love the atmosphere. The music is a little loud for me. I had a hard time hearing, but that could just be me. They are on top of everything for sure. From ordering, cleanliness, delicious food, beverages & the wait staff. Definitely worth checking out, if you haven’t already.

I ordered on doordash but had to hop over for food like this! This food was absolutey incredible! Big portion, fresh and vibrant flavors, and perfect temperature! I ordered a Burrito and the Mexican Street Corn! I was immediately greated with an amazing use of spices and flavors! Chingon really lives up to its name! Ill definitely be ordering again! Best Mexican food Ive had in the area!
