In Leland we only have 2 Mexican restaurants. Chingon is definitely my 1st pick. Don’t get me wrong, I like the other place too. But tonight was the birthday girls choice. You get plenty of food for the price. The margaritas are delicious as well. I do love the atmosphere. The music is a little loud for me. I had a hard time hearing, but that could just be me. They are on top of everything for sure. From ordering, cleanliness, delicious food, beverages & the wait staff. Definitely worth checking out, if you haven’t already.

If I could give this restaurant a thousand stars I would. Firstly the food is authentic and TO DIE FOR!! Secondly the staff is absolutely amazing, every time you walk in you are greeted with a hello and smile. They are very personable and make you feel like you are apart of the family. Lastly the environment is very clean and homey. Whenever I come back home to NC this is the first place to stop at just because the food alone mixed with the friendly staff makes you feel at home.

This type of cuisine is my husband’s all time favorite. He saw this place on Facebook and and wanted to come ever since. We had to make a trip over the bridge to check it out. We were not disappointed. Promptly greeted soon as we entered. You have place your order at the counter and then sit down, they bring your food to you. Food came out pretty quickly. My husband was very pleased with everything. They forgot beans & rice with his tacos but fixed the issue and brought it out. Restaurant is very clean and inviting. We will be back.

Amazing, fresh, cooked to order food! Husband and I shared several dishes off the a la carte section last night: tacos (barbacoa, Al pastor, and carne asada), cheese empanadas, street corn, and chips and salsa. All out of this world! Street corn was absolutely to die for! So much flavor—prices were very reasonable and even though it’s counter service several employees stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back!!

For the price the food quality is marginal at best. Not terrible but definitely sub par on the Mexi-American scale in comparison to other local restaurants. (Stale tortillas, chips made off site, chicken and rice was dry and the flavor was very “commercial”).
