Ordered from here on accident, but still picked up because I felt bad.
The food is worse than mediocre. Super bland. The rice isn’t fried, it’s just rice with some “butter” and vegetables. The chicken tastes near raw. I ordered chow mein but got something far from it. No noodles whatsoever. I should have left when I saw what was on the counter. We were looking forward to a nice Chinese meal but now our night is ruined. Will 100% be requesting a charge back from my bank.

Ordered general tso chicken and Egg FRIED RICE. I got reheated microwaved chicken plain white rice with some veggies. If you like bland hospital food this place is for you. How on earth are they in business

The food was tasteless, the boneless ribs had a left over reheated pork aftertaste that was poorly concealed by drowing the poor pig in a bad example of a Chinese bbq sauce, the pork in the lo-mein and the soup and the ribs had never seen the inside of a Chinese smoker. There were peas in the VERY pale and tasteless fried rice. The only other time I had peas in my fried rice is when I had Korean rice. All in all I would not recommend nor return to this resturant. You would do better and cheaper going to the frozen case in the supermarket and picking one from shelf A and one from shelf B . Totally waste of money and time. Stick with your tried and true.

I come here atleast once a week. It is my favorite place in Bloomsburg to get Chinese food hands down. The food is always fresh and they have the best prices for multiple items. I love the 3 item hot box bc it’s cheap and I’m indecisive and can order multiple things without spending 20-30$ and having so much extra food. They also make great premade sushi in a open cooler unit you can either pay for there or check out at any of the grocery registers in Giant so you don’t have to wait if there’s a long line and that’s all you would like. Also very fairly priced and delicious!
Some of the negative reviews saying the workers speak little to no English, I honestly found quite racist. I’ve never had any issues communicating or understanding any of them and I’ve been getting Chinese food there for the past 7 years faithfully. every person there is nice and works HARD. I never have to wait long even with a line.

First time bisit because people have recommended them. Unfortunately not a good experience. Staff was great but food was terrible. Sweet and sour chicken comes with 8 pieces of chicken if you’re lucky. Rice is undercooked and bland. Beef lo mein barely any meat. Taste was good. Cheese wonton hard as a rock, couldn’t eat them. Hard to swallow spending money on food I could not eat, namely the rice and wontons.

This place has had very good and very fresh food every time I have gone there (Many times). I drive out of my way to get it passing at least three other Chinese places. Despite the belief of others, this restaurant has absolutely no control over operations of DoorDash. DoorDash is run by DoorDash, not Honk Kong Chef 5.

I don’t know how Giant has this in their store, the one lady that’s always there in front is absolutely horrible she yells loud and embarrasses you. She’s horrible and there are other reviews that support this. The food is okay, but not worth the treatment.
