First impression, first timer. Horrible! Chinese slop! I wasn’t going to be harsh but my gosh after the bill, I wasn’t going to hold back my opinions.

Tastes was just above boxed grocery store Chinese food.
For that price they are charging way too much.
Not ventilated enough I came out smelling like nasty oil and took a shower once I got home.
Can I say Anything nice? Yes, they did have a variety of choices.
I’d say 9.99 would be the correct price not 15.00 per person. For what you are about to eat.
I don’t believe my review will put them out of business, but I hope they will change their business practices.

We normally show up a little ahead of the lunch crowd or an hour after the rush, and the food is usually good and hot. Just don’t grab from the pans that don’t look to have been topped up lately. Good variety, reasonable prices for a buffet.

Sampled about 20 items from this buffet and the only thing that was slightly ok was the “sweet and sour pork.” Everything else was either gross or inedible. Not sure how the locals can even eat this. Brenham has plenty of food options, but maybe not too many decent “Asian” places. Would wholeheartedly not recommend this place to anyone.

Before leaving this review I’ve eaten here 10 times. I’m smart and go during lunch and dinner time when the place will be busy and food will be fresh. (Great Prices: $14.00 lunch and $14.50 dinner)

Don’t eat here! Food is super cold and doesn’t taste good. Served ourselves only one time, and couldn’t continue eating. Drinks taste watered down, also not much to choose from. The items that they have available are almost out of.

The building has a couple of weird smells, husband says he thinks it may have been a pool hall at one point. We got sat and our drinks arrive super quickly. The food was pretty good, was coming out fresh constantly. It was fairly busy when we were there dead of lunch. The person “serving” (refilling drinks, cleaning plates) was incredible and super on it. Doing an incredible job. The rest of the staff we interacted with was super friendly.

Went to use the restroom, Seen how disgusting it was. I thought to myself, if the bathroom looks this bad, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Se my party left. But don’t my opinion stop you from eating here. I may have just went on a short staffed day. But first impressions are everything to me.

This place had a big variety of food on the buffet. Everything I tried was great. Will definately be going back. It’s well worth the drive. The price was great as well. I’ve tried food at numerous Chinese restaurants and always threw the food out. This place is great. No need to try any where else. The food was hot and well stocked when we were there as well.

I have learned my lesson about “checking the buffet BEFORE”…. i personally didnt like how EVERY ITEM was almost completely gone and what was left was old and really dry (the rice was hard and old and the little bit of noodles shriveled up and very greasy). Me and my baby got there at 2:30, assuming there would be enough food since its a buffet, but either we came too late or too early because everything had been eaten and nothing was being brought out. There were crumbs of whatever meats were left. Maybe the person in the kitchen wasnt paying attention or they were saving the fresh food for dinner? I only say that because they didnt put any food out what so ever until 3:30 when a woman came in to take out food, but there was literally no food to take out… we stayed until 4 pm just to have one fresh plate of actual food.
