It’s been chilly here in Florida for the last few days, but tonight wasn’t so bad. Regardless, I still wanted some hot soup—wonton soup to be exact. I was in the Pompano Beach area and remembered there was a Chinese restaurant in the Garden Isles Shopping Center. The parking spaces fill up quickly during the evening; luckily, I managed to find one.
A pleasant employee greeted me and took my order for a quart of house special wonton soup. I asked the employee if he had fried wonton noodles to go with the soup, and he confirmed that he did. The small restaurant had only a few tables if you chose to eat inside. It offers a wide selection of dishes at reasonable prices. I received my order within minutes and immediately headed home.
As I pulled the container out of the bag, I was pleased to see it filled with not only wontons, but also shrimp, chicken, roast pork, carrots, broccoli, snap peas, scallions, celery, and mushrooms all in a flavorful broth. Now this is a wonton soup I can thoroughly enjoy.

Tonight, December 20th, I purchased two orders of fried rice with wings, and the experience was terrible. The rice had absolutely no flavor—it was basically plain rice with soy sauce—and the wings were extremely salty, to the point of being inedible. This was a complete disappointment and a total lack of quality. I will definitely not be returning to this place.

I’ve been going to this restaurant since it was originally a full service restaurant across the street about 40 years. I have never had bad service or food. Portions are generous, prices are very good and service all through the years is still great. I am a loyal customer and I hope they continue for many more years. I’ve seen the kids grow up and their kids grow up.

Absolutely love this place! The portions are very generous, the prices are super affordable, and the food tastes amazing. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and it came out hot, crispy, and full of flavor — just the way it should be! You definitely get your money’s worth here. Highly recommend if you’re craving some classic American Chinese takeout!

Just moved to the area and was looking for a good neighborhood Chinese restaurant and being from nYc I take my Chinese food a little serious! After ordering I sat in the lobby and waited and while waiting an elderly woman came and sat next to me and shared with me she has been going to this restaurant for 27 years and that the business was past down to the previous owners children whom are adults now and that the food never changed and was delicious… well that excited me and when I got home I was taken a back as to how good the food was!! Portions were great and the price point is good too!! So happy my first time searching for a good Chinese restaurant I got so lucky!!! Looking forward to many more visits!!

I own a business ( health & fitness) in the same plaza. I am very health conscious. Since the new young owner took over I tried their take out: they offer now much healthier choices, a lot of veggies in their rice portions. But most importantly: NO PRESERVATIVES ! I never got bloated! That is the best sign for “ No Preservatives “ . I started now to recommend this place to my own clients!
