My favorite! I come here 2-3 times a week for the crab ragoon. Its genuinely the best I’ve ever had and have convinced multiple people to order it, otherwise the gen tso chicken is delicious, the portion sizes are insane, I always end up with food for the next day, usually get a free soda, I always admired the Fortune cookies as well for always having relevent fortunes (for example if you go in September sometimes you’ll get one that says something will happen in October) and I think that’s cool, never an QR codes or bs just a regular classic cookie. Now I will say it’s kinda unspoken that this place is for takeout. You can eat there and he will even bring the food out to you but I don’t agree with ppl complaining about the atmosphere I understand if they never been there before but yeah. Plan to eat at home because they just make the food. They don’t know much English so it’s just not fair to expect the same level of customer service as places that do. Plain and simple. The employees are such nice sweethearts and they just operate different. That’s all!
Anyways just wanna say how much I love this place. Open till 2 am too. You don’t see that often.

Sadly this place is going downhill 🙁 I have loved ordering from them for years but the quality and freshness of the food have been declining. Then they offer “free” items if a certain dollar amount is ordered, yet when the food is delivered, the free items are never actually included. That brings us to tonight. We decided to give them another go. I placed the order online, noted the free item disappeared when I got to the cart, so I went back and added it again only to have it disappear again. I tried multiple times and thought maybe it was because it was free and no charge, so it was not listed on the cart. I put a note in that I added the free item and what happened. Then we waited. And waited. The food was to be delivered 45 minutes later, and after an hour and 10 minutes I called the store. The person who answered the phone said they had just gotten in and would look into it, but could not find my order anywhere. They asked to call me back after they looked into it more and I agreed. I waited 20 more minutes and called back. I spoke with another person who was trying to assist and asking the owner when the order would be delivered. The owner said it would be finished cooking in 7 minutes and asked if I would still wait. I agreed. They offered me a free 2 liter of soda for the problem, and while I don’t feel that is adequate compensation, I agreed. They didn’t have any diet soda we would drink, as we do not drink much soda, so they offered three cans of a diet soda instead of the 2liter. I agreed. Then we waited another 30 minutes for our food to be delivered!! When delivered, they gave us a 2 liter of a grape soda we never asked for, and did not send the free items again. I called them back and spoke with the same person who apologized. He tried to put in the free items to be delivered and the owner would not talk to him, but yell at him. He constantly asked the owner to please not yell at him and that he had not been trained on that. I was on the phone with him for 15 minutes while the owner looked into it, but the guy did not want to hang up and leave things open ended. However, after the entire wait the owner, who knew of the multiple problems with the order, still said that the soda was free and so we get what we get and the free item never came through so he would not replace it. I understand a business being busy, and I tried to be very patient. But at some point the owner needs to take responsibility for those little things that happen. Also, the food was lukewarm and tasted sub par to their previous quality and other area restaurants.

The food is very good, big portions at a reasonable price. Ordered 4 dishes for pickup and he gave us a free General Tso’s chicken. This is the second time they’ve comped us a dish and there was nothing wrong with the other food. Good people! Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately it’s a no for me now. I work from home so I ordered a few lunch entrees a few weeks ago. I ordered online at the top of the hour and it said 20-25 min wait. No problem, at all. I got to the restaurant a little late. My order wasn’t even ready – not even started! One of the employees told me 10-15 min. Ok, hopefully it’s fast because I have a meeting at 1 p.m. I’m waiting. Between 12:45-12:50 I asked if my food is ready because I have to go back to work. The guys says five minutes. I say, I’ll take whatever is ready because I have to get back to work. He’s like a few minutes. Either I’m walking out now or you can just give me what’s ready. It’s fine. He says take a soda. No, sir. Soda doesn’t work because I made the online order almost one hour ago. 20% off. We settled for 15% off. This isn’t the first time my orders are late. It’s usually more like 30-45 min.late. My food only tasted ok. Sorry, not coming back anymore.

I was asked what my order is six times after I ordered it. The thing is that I don’t care because I understand that they’re busy on the one night that the other Chinese restaurant is closed. I just got the most tender beef I’ve ever had from any restaurant ever. That includes high end steakhouses. The beef in my beef lo-mein was so tender that BUTTER could cut it. The Lo Mein was absolutely spectacular and I really don’t care that it took quite a while to get my order out. The service is great. It’s an asian family and the 阿姨 is clearly leading and cooking a lot of the food, which means it’s automatically going to be amazing. I haven’t been here in several years because I thought China Star was better, but these guys have really stepped up their game. This is clearly the best Chinese food in Sheboygan county.

Update June 14th 2024 We just picked up our order and the food was amazing this is the second time we have ordered from Chinatown in several months we use to eat at Chinatown when they had their buffet and the food was always very good. 10-23-23 ordered for delivery their lunch specials great food and large portions we use to dine here years back and wanted to try their lunch specials and I am glad I did definitely will be ordering again in the future

This place has definitely stepped up there game in recent years. I’d give it another shot. Glad we did…beef fried rice was on point. Food was ready and hot. Got some calenders too! It’s the little things .. Chinatown kitchen is definitely back on the list for the rotation of takeout restaurants in Sheboygan

Please don’t order delivery from here. He doesnt start orders until drivers arrive constantly costing them money by having to wait. Order from any other place and you’ll have your food when you expect it.

I order from this place like 1 to 2 times a week and everything the food was never frozen, old, cold, or taste funky, they always come out hot and fresh ingredients it never let me down for cheap as well
