Tucked away in a big plaza near Publix, China Town Restaurant is a longtime local spot — the owner proudly shared they’ve been in business for 13 years. That alone made me curious to give it a try.
I ordered one of their lunch specials, which came with soup, wonton chips, and dipping sauce — definitely a great deal for the price. The dish I chose was just okay for me; maybe I picked the wrong one, but the owner insists everything on the menu is good. I can’t say how the other dishes are, but the value here is hard to beat.
Service was quick and efficient, in that classic “Chinese restaurant” way — they get things done. There’s plenty of parking, and the place has that old-school Chinese restaurant vibe: simple, familiar, and a little nostalgic.
If you’re nearby and want a solid, affordable lunch spot, this one’s worth a try.

Food is very fresh tastes like you went to a friends house and they made you dinner. The service was so friendly and quick. The egg roll was crispy and light. I had the moo goo gai pan which was light and tasty. You know it’s fresh when one of the ladies is prepping fresh snow peas on a nearby table.

Was with a friend and decided it’s was time for Chinese food. Small restaurant with a nice menu. Anything that you want is here. And delicious they also have a sushi menu, so have fun. Mix it up whether you dine in or takeout you’re good to go enjoy.

I came to this restaurant excited to enjoy a meal with my two kids, but was told by Linda that I couldn’t sit and dine in simply because I had children — that I could only order takeout. I was shocked and disappointed. Families should feel welcome, not turned away. There was no clear policy posted, and the way it was handled felt disrespectful and discriminatory.
Restaurants should treat all customers with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I won’t be returning.

As usual, the food was absolutely delicious. I still say their food from soups to ice cream is better than Chinatown in NYC. I won’t go any place else.

Tonight was our first visit but will not be our last. I was a little concerned that the average review was less than 4 stars, but decided to try it since the bad reviews seemed mostly like sour grapes. This place is a little neighborhood gem. When we arrived there were crispy noodles, plum sauce, and hot mustard already out on several tables welcoming guests. My wife had the sesame shrimp, and loved it. She must have commented 5 times on how big the shrimp were, and how she could not stop munching the crispy noodles. I had a Tsing Tao and the pork egg foo young dinner, which came with hot and sour soup, egg roll, fried rice, and ice cream for dessert under $20. Everything we had seemed to be “home made” quality rather than the dump and fry frozen crap so many Chinese restaurants now serve. Others commented that this is a family run restaurant, and that seemed to be the case, with parents and kids all present. The “ambiance,” if you could call it that, is definitely “old school neighborhood joint,” which I consider a high compliment. I hate a corporate franchise feel. I’d rather eat in a place that is modestly unique. If you’re looking for a PF Chang, skip this place. (Please.) If you’re looking for the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxing meal, well prepared, check it out. Don’t let the average review scare you off.

Best take out Chinese food I’ve had since I’ve moved down here in 2001.
I had the General Tso Chicken, Hot and sour soup, pork fried rice, egg roll and dumplings. All were on point and equal to the take out I had growing up on Long Island Island New York.
Sorry no photos. I ate all my food before I decided to write a review.
