We ordered a shredded chicken dish there basically WAS NEXT TO NO CHICKEN. The red sauce on it tasted like Cambells Tomato soup No spices that even remotely tasted like Chinese Food. This dish was 85% onions or finely chopped celery??? I couldn’t even tell you what they where I will update the actual name of dish later

Best Chinese food in The area, you can tell
They put serious heart into their food, taste, look, I would say is high quality for Chinese food. I got more than I paid for! The atmosphere was very positive lady on cash had a very generous approach & the cook seemed very positive good energy. I could tell the guy had some real skill in the kitchen definitely takes an earnest approach to the kitchen.

Completely disgusted. The shrimps were so soft and mushy that they fell apart when I tried to pull them out of the dish. It’s against federal and provincial regulations to sell mushy shrimp, I would not advise anyone to eat shrimp from this restaurant!

Been coming since it opened years ago and has now become expensive, small portions, and terrible quality. The new person managing orders is rude and charges extra for things that used to be included such as switching vegetables or from fried rice to plain rice. Just not worth it and no gratitude or appreciation of regular repeat business as before. A real shame but the other Chinese place in town Canton buffet (definitely not the half nail salon chows) has upped their quality significantly and I go there now. Will not be supporting China8 anymore

Beautiful experience it was beyond what I expected. Food is yummy , fresh and very old with good flavors. I will come back again. I had to do dine in and left with more take out.

Updated review July 2025: I think maybe they have new owners and while the portion size is still generous and my customer service experience was good the food was not the same, our chicken egg noodles tasted like chemical cleaner and even the general tso chicken sauce was different in a worse way. Original post 5 star:This is like the classic great flavour, slightly greasy good prices chinese food place. Amazing portion sizes!

Staff is friendly. I thought the amount of food was worth the price. I called in my order and it was ready and nice and hot when i arrived to pick it up. The rice was a bit plain, but the sesame chicken was really good. Definitely will be going back.
