The restaurant was filthy, the food on the buffet line was so old that the rice was crunchy. I repeat fried rice was crunchy and the lady in charge had told the server that since the food had been sitting out there for so long that they will drop the price to $9.99. Instead of putting out food that is edible they decide to just drop the price. Lowest sanitation score I have seen in any restaurant in a long time. Plus had to wait in line for almost 20 minutes just to pay for my food to leave. I will never step foot in that place again. Also I’ll just give you a heads up that when you order a drink they bring you a can. $3.49 for a can of Dr. pepper. I saw that they had a soda fountain there so I don’t know why they only were serving cans and bottled drinks and charging out the wazoo for them. Absolutely nothing about this place made me even want to consider ever going back

We were the only ones eating in, and that should have been the signal to go somewhere else. The dining room also severs as a place for the owners kids and running some other business from a laptop. Now to the food.. We had shrimp fried rice had five tiny shrimp, no taste, and not serve very hot. I had beef and broccoli that would have been better if hot. The rice was also not very warm. We will not return. I can’t believe the owner would serve this quality of food to his family.

Don’t subject yourself to this experience. I know the other options left you wanting, but this place is not the solution.

Service. The young man at the desk seemed annoyed that you had customers. He offered no welcome or smile. When another customer asked if he knew how much longer she needed to wait for her order (she said she’d been waiting almost an hour), he didn’t say a word, just walked away and mumbled an update a few minutes later.

Atmosphere. Having a greeter with such a negative attitude really kills the hospitality of your restaurant. Being able to see the cluttered stuff on the table behind the counter feels messy. The menus are old and faded. Nothing feels like you care.

Food. We ordered sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, fried rice, and wonton soup. The sesame chicken was the worst. The chicken was absolutely destroyed in the fryer. We had to chisel it apart with our chopsticks. The chicken was so crusty that I didn’t know where the chicken ended and the breading began. It tasted like old oil. No amount of sauce can cover that up. The egg roll was dripping in grease. I’m pretty sure you need your oil to be hotter. I actually liked the roll itself but it was prepared badly. The rice was soggy and gross looking. Add more vegetables for some color and don’t let it cook so long or something. It was bad. The soup was good and the sweet and sour chicken was decent. (Not sure why the chicken in that one was edible but the sesame was not).

In the end, we couldn’t help but laugh when our dinner was finished with a crushed, stale fortune cookie that had no fortune inside of it! How unfortunate.

My husband and I were looking for a quick bite of some good Chinese food! This was definitely not the place. I got a wonton soup which tasted like dirty water and the dumplings like they had been sitting in the broth for 2 years, they were soggy and disgusting. My husband got the sweet and sour chicken, the chicken was not bad but it was cold, the rice was like they had scraped the last bit from the bottom of the pan! Won’t be good there again that’s for sure

Absolutely disgusting. I have no idea how this place has even past an inspection.
Unsanitary to say the least.
I washed 3 people!! Come to the hot bar to get food with a dirty plate they ate from. Dirty utensils. After speaking with the manager, he acted as if no issue! And I had mentioned he has a policy stated on the wall to use new dishwater each time of getting food. And they do not enforce!! So eat at your own Risk! If you don’t mind sharing germs.

The beef teriyaki is honestly the most tender and best I’ve ever had. I’m extremely impressed also with the quality of their dumplings and I think I’m going to do a second order.

It was fine. Service was almost non existent and painfully slow, don’t do in any sort of a rush.

Misses: 1) the egg drop soup was gelatinous, 2) the steamed chicken and veggies was more like boiled, still wet and bland, and 3) the orange chicken was sweet and not very orange-y but the texture was good- nicely fried.

Wins: 1) the moo shu pork was really tasty and 2) the Singapore chow mei fun was proper spicy and really flavorful,

Middle of the road: 1) the steak was fine (nothing particularly good, nothing particularly bad), and 2) the rice was fine but could have been a big contributor to help

The interior felt like a liminal space- nothing on the walls matched in aesthetics and there were a comical amount of fire sprinklers on the ceiling amongst the 3 totally mismatched chandeliers.

This was my first time trying this place out, and I would recommend going elsewhere. I was excited for the food. But my chicken was so hard, it was like chewing on shreds of plastic. I guess it was freezer burnt. Upon reading the other reviews, I’m not the first person this has happened to, which makes it even more concerning that it seems to be an ongoing issue. It definitely wasn’t worth the money.

I went to China Wok at noon for lunch. I ordered at 12:15 and received my meal at 12:29. I ordered chicken with cashew nuts and fried rice. It was served hot and was prepared nicely.
I was surprised that I was the only customer eating in the restaurant.
However, they were doing a steady takeout business.
I’d probably go back if I had another hankering for Chinese food.

While the place was kinda sketch when we came in (sticky menus, tables, floors) the food was served very hot and tasty. Was still a bit worried about how clean the kitchen might be based on the bathrooms and the fact that the Lunch buffet was still sitting out at 6pm but overall it was adequate Chinese dishes and we had a meal leftover.
