An authentic Sichuan cuisine restaurant that’s been a long time fixture on Solano Ave. As with many authentic ethnic foods, they may not always appeal to every casual patron. That said, the menu includes a wide variety options. The five spice pork shoulder is a house speciality that typically takes a bit of preparation time to render the meat tender and silky, and the dish takes skill and attention to detail to prepare. The only down side was the AC was down leaving us a little warm under the collar with all the spicy foods.

The food here is super tasty and the service is always friendly. It’s a great spot for family dinners—my parents and kids all loved it. The place is big too, it can easily hold over 100 people, so it’s perfect for large parties or family gatherings.

I must admit, I have frequented this establishment quite often in the past, always enjoying the various menu items. However, during my most recent visits, I’ve encountered an issue with the menu. Specifically, I’ve noticed that certain dishes which do possess a spicy kick are not properly marked as such. This lack of clarity poses a challenge for those of us with sensitive palates ️, who prefer to avoid unexpected heat in our meals. Hopefully, the restaurant will address this soon so I can continue enjoying my dining experience there.
Also maybe just a clerical error but they shorted my change on my last visit which was disheartening

The food here is excellent and the fish soup in particular, unfortunately, the servers are mostly fairly rude, making the experience less pleasant. One time while they were cleaning up one of the tables one of them tossed some of the dishes into a bowl of soup that was on their cart, splashing it all over me and our food, and the woman who did it just looked over and shrugged. We weren’t going to eat our food after having somebody else’s food, splash all over it and us, so we just got up to leave, and the people tried to insist that we pay! The owner Waved at the people at the counter, indicating not to charge me, but the whole thing was ridiculous. I still go there sometimes, but not nearly as often as I used to.

The must try is 1000 Chili Chicken ️ and Spicy Boiled Fish Fillet ️ , sooo goodddd! But all their other food is good too.
Staff is friendly and nice. Restaurant is pretty big and good for big parties.
