It’s always been one of my favorite places to eat my whole life. The food is always hot, it always tastes as good as the last time if not better, the staff is kind and doesn’t hound you every two minutes like other buffets I’ve been to. So I’ve ate at over no joke probably 100 some Chinese buffets over the past 14 years and I was impressed with this one.
So today was my first time eating here. When I showed up at the front it didn’t take long for someone to show up. He told me to feel free to sit anywhere so I was like okay cool. I got my drink quickly and when I got the food and sat back down and starting eating I thought it tasted pretty good.
Now, the atmosphere isn’t fancy or even the cleanest BUT the food was
The place is big but it’s peaceful and I felt relaxed and enjoyed my time here.
Service was just fine nothing over the top nor was it poor at all.
My only recommendations would be to maybe play some peaceful music but not to loudly to keep the relaxing atmosphere and maybe have more Chinese decor on the walls but other then that the food and service was just fine. This place don’t look like much on the outside but don’t let that fool ya. And again it’s nothing fancy but I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s one of the few places I’ve ever seen with he Mongolian Chicken that I like personally speaking.
Like I said ive ate at a ton of different places and this place hit the spot for me, I had to stop at three plates lol.
So overall I give this place a 4 out 5. Just add some music and decor and keep that food warm and you got my business. – Thank You

The salmon was cold, and I let them know. They told me they’d reheat it—which is obviously unsafe. It seems they may do that with other food, as my husband and I both have mild to moderate food poisoning symptoms that set in a few hours after eating there. We both ate entirely different foods (other than the ice cream), so I wonder how often they simply let food go cold and reheat it.
We’ve eaten here a few times a year over the last several years and never understood the concerns unail last night’s meal.
Reheating room temp food is dangerous. We will NEVER go back.

Went out to eat with my husband. The waitress that seated us did not come and refill our drinks the entire time. When I went to look back for her she was leaning against the door frame scrolling on her phone. We just decided to leave, as we were leaving the whole crew was in front of a laptop laughing, with the same chick next to them holding her phone while people were waiting to be seated. We should have known to just walked out, when we first walked in. The Mexican was packed and they only had us and the other customers that were together that walked in when we were heading out. Honestly I rather just go to oak ridge or Knoxville to get Chinese.

So, We were originally going to Golden Oak in Oak ridge, (I honestly wish we had), before going in I looked at the reviews and was very worried, because 90% of them were bad, when we got in a nice waiter seated us, Got our drink orders, and brought them by quickly, then we got our food and stuffs, The Sweet and sour chicken was very chewy, Couldn’t finish it, the Lo Mein was Okay.. not bad but not quite good either, The sushi wasn’t the best either, It tasted weird, The Garlic bread was stale and hard, The popcorn shrimp was nasty, The only great thing about the food was the Mozzarella sticks and the dessert, I got the Star shaped bread things, And the lemon icing filled bread thing, they were really good I almost got all of it on my plate lol, The lemons were horrible though, Like usually I LOVE lemons- less expensive sour candy, But the lemons here were awful, Left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth even after I chugged a bottle of water and a bottle of sprite, Anyway, The people were nice, the waiter DID ask us how we were, Twice because we weren’t there that long, She brought us the bill though when I hadn’t had seconds yet or dessert so I don’t know If I did a crime by eating more after she brought the bill… But it should be fine, if not, we’ll, free dessert

So this is what I received from them tonight I went to there I went on their FB page and sent them pictures I spent $45 for mess 30 min late still no response from them so I called and told that I went on their page and sent pic and no one ever responded then I get were not the pizza place I stated I knew were I called and was wondering why I never got a response from them and after a moment of silence I explain my situation again and said you all do have a Facebook page correct and she a lady answered no we don’t and hung up so if you’d like to go down there and spend $45 to get you a nice big old mops cuz I had I didn’t appreciate it

Just prepared for them to charge what ever they want. We went last Friday right before 4pm ate buffet. The very last thing my mother ate was a few pieces of coconut shrimp got our bill it was under $40. Now fast forward it’s Tuesday ( 4 days later) we went closer to 3pm ate buffet again. Her last plate again was a few pieces of coconut shrimp again. Cause they brought it out right as we were done both times but today quite a bit earlier than Friday. We get our bill it’s $47. I asked why cause we just came and ate and ordered the exact same drinks as 4 days ago but we are here even earlier than before. They state cause she ate the coconut shrimp they charged us the dinner price. Well first off she was the only one to eat it so if anything she should have been the only one charged dinner price. I have never been to a buffet that doesn’t have set times of when lunch ends and dinner begins. I told them on Friday she ate the exact same thing the exact same way and we were charged $38. They wanted to argue before they finally agreed to drop the price.

i recently just got takeout for the first time in my lunch break. i was not aware of the rule about meals under $10 needing to be cash, as i’ve never gotten to-go from here. i explained that i didn’t have any other form of payment, and i would be happy to go somewhere else. the woman at the front desk proceeded to laugh at me, as if i asked her to make the sun rise again. she pressured me to add more food to my plate, which i am not capable of eating. she then finally said “i will do it for you this time, but don’t do that again” while continuing to giggle at me. i feel extremely disrespected, and will not be returning for takeout.
