I used to love this place. We ate there at least 2 times a month for years. A couple yrs ago it became awful. Oily and just tasted like the meats were bad. We would try again every few months but even though you could tell they changed chefs it was just just so so and too oily. Yesterday 11/16/25 I got my favorite special chowmein Chinese style and was pleasantly surprised. It had decent flavor, lots of meat, vegetables and not oily. Unfortunately, my husband’s egg foo yung was way to oily. If they would stop drenching the food it oil we would go back more. It’s just too bad because it’s close to home and Chinese is my favorite food. Who ever was there chef 5 yrs ago they should re-hire asap

The Cashew Chicken served here is one of the best that I have had anywhere. It was a generous portion with fresh chicken and plenty of cashews and vegetables. It can be ordered with rice or noodles. Their pan fried noodles make a nice combination. I ordered it to go and my order was prepared quickly. It was exactly what I wanted. I will be back to try more items on the menu.

Apparently this is their egg flower soup although when you order online, it looks completely different (typical, popular egg flower soup). Tried calling and the lady I spoke with seem annoyed like I’m the idiot for not knowing how they make it. I’m all for authenticity and different approaches. Not a fan of false advertising. Will not be returning.

Can’t miss with China To Go at Fowler and Ashlan. One of our favorite Chinese food restaurants in the Fresno/Clovis area for many years. Everything’s delicious and the pricing is very good. The only place I’ve found that cooks crispy pan-fried noodles! Highly recommend!

I don’t recommend this restaurant to anybody. Food looked good but as soon as I put the first bite in my mouth all I tasted was salt. I looked thru the food and there was chunks of salt in the the food. Literally like if they did it on purpose. Please be careful if you decide visiting this restaurant. This amount of salt can send someone to the hospital.

Not that bad, I enjoyed their orange chicken and steamed rice. I did not really like the chow mein at all. Their sauces are very good

If I could give 0 stars I would…..I have been thinking about trying this place and finally did….ordered the special fried rice and an order of bbq pork…..worst fried rice and bbq pork I’ve ever had. The rice was awful…..almost like they never cleaned the skillet with black burnt peices throughout it…. Majority was bean sprouts…No seasoning at All …big chunks of steamed rice and the little bit of chicken peices I’m almost sure they’re just boiled and tossed in last. The bbq pork was very over cooked and dried out to where it was like jerky. Very disappointed 30$ straight into the garbage. Don’t bother wasting your money here go across the street Panda Express has far better food.

If I Can give it a 0 star i would. I was happy to eat Chinese food, I order a plate with “orange chicken” “fried rice” and
“chow mein” I would never ever want to even see this place. The fried rice no flavor at ALL!! Not even the Chow mein it’s basically just boiled. The orange chicken it’s just chicken and they just throw sauce ontop of it ! I’m really disappointed. Nothing hurts me more than paying for horrible food.
