Excellent Take Away/Carry-out Chinese Restaurant with easy access. Food portions were perfect with good value. The food tasted wonderful and fresh. The sauces for each item were excellent. Most dishes were stir fried so can’t comment on battered/deep fried items. Highly recommend. Definitely should be 4.7+ on Google than 4.3 but can’t control that.

i was hesitant bc it’s hard to find a place that makes beef & broccoli the way i enjoy it. just gotta say… pleasantly surprised! i no longer have to go to columbia near route 1 for my favorite beef & broccoli anymore when i can get the same flavor and possibly even better quality right around the corner! the portions were supposed to be small… but they were GIGANTIC!!! Moms looked like she didn’t even eat anything! she said she used to eat there all the time when she worked so she was happy to find it again… and that the quality was still on par! my beef was tender and flavorful and the broccoli was nice and squishy with a bit of firm crunch. soaked up all that flavor in the florets… just delicious! China taste indeed, thank you!

The sweet and sour chicken with fried rice is our usual choice. The quality and taste is always the same: delicious! The staff are always warm and welcoming, honest too. I dropped my credit card without knowing it after I paid. They saw it, tried to call me ASAP and kept it safe till I was able to return for it. Thanks so much!

Food is good and generously portioned but not particularly economical in a mom and pop type place where I normally expect good deals. Also, avoid the egg drop soup. Worse than soup from your instant ramen. Friendly staff.

I have been a regular customer of China Taste for one reason: Their pan fried and steamed dumplings. The last time I visited, however, the dumplings were really poor. Pan fried dumplings (pot stickers) are supposed to have a decorative, fluted edge. They have always been well made before. This time, however, they looked like a lump of clay that was pinched around the edge by a five year old – very poor! I will not be returning.

This was a risk of trying Thai food in Chinese take away shop. But China Taste made them pretty good. Tom Yim soup with more than 6 shrimps there. Red curry doesnt like red, but the sweet and slightly spicy is what Thai curry taste like. Just added China Taste in my list!!

Love the food here, likely the best Chinese place in Ellicott City. Very diverse menu but doesn’t compromise the taste. Been coming here for 10+ years now.
PS: Everyone is very used to what Chinese tastes like by now. Although this place isn’t doing anything revolutionary in terms of taste, you’re never going to be disappointed.

I like this local Chinese food. I mostly order vegetables Lo Mein. It is really good quantity and nice food overall. First time I told them to medium spicy they did it extra spicy that I was not able to eat. However, they made is perfect next time. Normally on Monday they close 10pm but I called them on 10:10 pm and they took my order and make it ready in just 10 minutes.
One good thing about this restaurant is they have all sauce packet outside. Therefore, customer can take it by themself and also fortune cookie.

Perhaps I am ordering the wrong items. Nothing is bad but nothing really stands out. We ordered the Vegetable Lo Mein (asked for spicy) and the Kung Pao Chicken (menu states that it is a spicy dish). Nothing was spicy. The Kung Pao had flavor but definitely no spice. The Lo Mein didn’t really have much of any flavor. I’m so confused because there is always a long wait for food. My order took over an hour so I waited outside in the cold for it to be ready since online said 30-40 minutes and I was not alone! Must have been almost a dozen people outside waiting almost the whole time. If I can convince my spouse to try it again we might but I just wish I knew the dishes that keeps the lines so long every day.

Got Mongolian chicken and 85% of it was soggy disgusting onion and leaves. Take a look at the picture which shows AFTER I took all the chicken out. They are ripping customers off. For the high price they charge this is outrageous.
