I have been in here a handful of times and it never meets expectations. Food is greasy and flavorless. Floor is sticky, always an unappealing aroma when you walk in. Never really polite just not always rude. I got the wonton soup this time; took one bite of the pasty wonton and that was it. I am done wasting my time and money here. Tokyo is better priced and higher quality!

I had heard that this location had changed ownership recently, I drove right past Asian Star in leetsdale to go out of my way to coraopolis just to try the food with the new owner – big mistake ! Their food is more expensive and not nearly as good. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and it was just mediocre, it lacked the normal spices and flavor – it tasted like everything was cooked in beef broth rather than being mildly hot and spicy like Kung Pao is supposed to be. It was even watery rather than saucy. I was asked if I wanted white rice or fried rice thinking I was being given a choice – they failed to mention the going with the fried rice would be at least $2 more. By the time I paid and left it was $17.11 with tax which makes it $4 and $5 more than most other places for food that was only substandard. Even the fried rice was not very good, it was basically just rice it was fried in a little oil – no flavor whatsoever and not at all like normal fried rice from anywhere else. This place was a huge and pricey disappointment. It was not at all of the quality it used to be war of the quality of the other local Chinese restaurants. I’ve had Chinese from all over the United States and this by far was the worst of all. Never again will I bother going there even if I was right there nearby – instead I would travel out of my way to leetsdale ambridge or five points because it would certainly be worth the trip. Anyone who claims this is really good Chinese food or worse yet the best or great obviously does not know good Chinese food – therefore no credibility and no relevance.

First time here and I know everybody’s taste are different. Egg rolls were crispy and full. Won Ton soup was full of flavor and loaded with noodles. The fried rice, egg foo young, shrimp lo mein and house special was delicious. Definitely my go to Chinese.

I ordered 2 large chicken fried rice take out orders. Upon arrival back at my hotel I discovered the food was very bland and unseasoned. It had no green onions or other veggies, just bland rice and a few scrapes of chicken. Very disappointed!!! Will never visit that establishment again despite the friendly faces. They get 1 star!
