So happy to have found a place in Tucson that serves truly authentic Chinese food! Reminded me of food I used to order with my family back at our favorite Chinese restaurants in LA. The roast duck is really good, with crispy skin! If you order the roast duck soup it comes with a good sized portion of duck and a bowl of clean tasting delicious broth, noodles, and veggies that tastes like it’s been made with love. Generous portions and friendly service! Excited to return and try a wide variety of dishes on their menu!

This place uses szechwan peppers liberally.
What I ordered, three different spicy dishes and they all had different intensity of spice levels.
I do recommend ordering a not spicy dish for sure, or go all in like myself to get your spicy fixes here. lol

Very good food, the service was awesome. They were very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend the Dan Dan Noodles for a yummy appetizer that will leave your lips tingling.
I have attached a picture of the entree I got, which was Water-Boiled Fish. So amazing! Highly recommend.

China Szechuan is excellent. I had spicy beef and broccoli with peppercorn. The brown sauce for the crispy tofu was delicious.

Ample and abundant on-site parking was available. Immediately and warmly welcomed upon arrival. I was seated almost immediately without issue. I visited during peak lunch hours and the dining room was practically a vacant ghost town. One can only guess that people in the know vote with their feet and no longer subject themselves to this place. It’s obviously now running only on fumes.
The lunch menu appears to be large with abundant and numerous choices, all of which sounded delicious.
I ordered the trusted beef Lo Mein, fried wontons, fried rice and egg flower soup. The lunch menu offers rice so when the server inquired if l wanted white rice or fried rice l went for the fried rice without further thought. It was only later with the presentation of the bill did l become acutely aware of the unexplained and unexpected upcharge. I really felt it’s only $1 but it’s also extremely deceptive, disingenuous and borders on being questionably dishonest to upsell without advising of the additional charge. It came across as a tacky and a greedy misstep that probably should never have happened. I found the way it was mishandled far outweighed the original trespass. By time l departed it had left a bad taste in my mouth. A review of previous reviews documents a long almost endless list of such willful, deliberate and intentional abusive transgressions.
The food was decent and issue free. I especially enjoyed the egg flower soup and found it delicious. I found the condiments tray to border on being filthy and question if the incredibly sticky pepper shaker has been recently cleaned at any point in this decade or the one before. The soy sauce bottle lid was equally disgusting.
The AC seemed set too high and the interior was noticably warm. Not uncomfortable, but warm on an already hot Arizona day.
Service was decent and my water was never allowed to run dry which was truly appreciated given the temp of the dining room.
Overall I was not dissatisfied in my dining experience, but I wasn’t remotely impressed and by mid meal had regretted my visitation decision.
I definitely won’t be returning in this lifetime, thus avoiding getting institutionally hosed for the extra buck for the fried rice.
Tucson is full of far better places to enjoy tasty Chinese food at without the deceptive hidden charges.
Skip this one, your not really that hungry.

Just the absolute best authentic Chinese in town. You know when there’s a special szechuan menu. Been coming here for a while, always for my take out and my go-to Christmas eve dinners but never took the time to review. But today, I just wanted to get a quick lazy soup, egg rolls, some green beans but she was so sweet and announced the crispy pork just came out of the oven, hot and crispy, and I could not pass it up. It was to die for, and better than all the other I’ve had in town. Juicy, tender, and crispy. Thank you so much for the heads up!

We’ve been eating at this restaurant for over ten years I think and have never had a bad experience. We’re always greeted with a hello and know that if it’s busy, the food might take a while because it’s made to order. I would definitely recommend the whole steamed sea bass (approximately 20mins to prepare), and if you’re not afraid of bones. The brown sauce pork belly cubes are delicious too. It’s fun to see the ladies at lunchtime doing the green beans in the back table. It’s a no frills, lazy Susan in the center of the table, you can hear the chefs yelling in the kitchen, that makes you smile restaurant kind of feeling.

Exceptional service on Xmas Day. Right up front we were told the wait was going to be long about two hours because rhey were down a chef. I tell you they were super busy and juggling phone orders and guests with smiles and professionalism. I say this because when the food came out it was exceptional. I had the Cashew chicken which was full of flavor and yummy cashews. A lot places skimp on cashews.

I cant wait to go back.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years. The food is always consistently delicious. Everything I’ve tried has been packed with flavor and tons of fresh veggies. The service is friendly and accurate. They get VERY busy on holidays. Expect a wait on peak days, but quick service on any normal day of the year.
