Don’t listen to the haters, the restaurant was clean, the staff were extremely personable and polite and the food was amazing! My wife is super picky about her protein and the chicken passed with flying colors. Our egg rolls were excellent, especially if you like lots of cabbage and the portions were almost too much. Fairly priced and on point. It’s really hard to find good Chinese now days so I’m super glad we found this place

We drive almost 2 hours to get here. Their egg rolls that are double fried are phenomenal, great food large portions and a wonderful atmosphere. The wait staff goes above and beyond their call to make sure that you have a pleasant time

Half of the food was good. Half sucked. The egg rolls were made with some kind of super fibeous vegetable. It was super chewy. Also my fiance’s sweet and sour chicken was overcooked and tough. My chow mein was a mix of both some fresh and some old reheated tasting slices of chicken toward.thr bottom. Service wa good though. Probably will go to another place next time.

My oyster wings were overly salty. She said that’s how they come and nothing we can do. My chicken chow chicken sauce was overly sweet. Lastly, my egg rolls were BURNT. They told me you wont be getting a discount. Didnt even offer to remake egg rolls. Its okay to mess up, it’s not okay to not make it right.

Have been coming here for years. Best lunch specials around, fantastic food, super kind staff. Food is always hot , fresh, and delicious. staff remembers you by name, and are good people. I would not go anywhere else in Duluth for Chinese food.

Edited for updating. This restaurant is seriously filthy and run down. Every single plate we were served was chipped. Bacteria are carried in those chips.
There was dirty laundry in the smaller banquet room. Old shoes behind the till. The bathroom was GROSS. I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. The food was okay but I lost my appetite looking at the place.
Used to be one of my favorite spots but I’ll never eat there again.

Aug.19, 2025. My partner & I had dinner here. Our server(Cheryl) was simply the best. Very knowledgeable & friendly.
Cream cheese won tons(8) were recommended. They came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce that married perfectly with the cream cheese. Great choice.
Cheryl told us that the Hot & Sour soup could serve 4 even if the menu said 2. Wow, was she correct. I had the Generals Chicken while my partner had Sesame chicken with Broccoli. Neither of us could finish our main courses after having 1/2 the excellent soup, two egg rolls and the 8 Won tons.. Very tasty and the huge portions allowed us to use the leftovers for dinner tomorrow. 😉
I asked about the spiciness and our server called it medium. I requested that it be spiced up a bit and the end result was perfect. Really nice job in the kitchen.
Last thing is, our order was out very quickly.
We will be back for sure.

Amazing Efforts
I sat in my car and almost didn’t go in after seeing a few reviews. But then saw all the good reviews. So we went in and tried it. I think this place is a gem. I’m going back. Food was great. The staff was great. The music finally came on and it was better atmosphere. I wouldn’t nap on the floor.
The food is worth it. Don’t judge a book by its cover!!

I agree with previous post, outside is awful. Inside is dated, worn and not too clean. Food was surprisingly good, but i kept wondering about the kitchen and simply lost my appetite. My server was great.
