The food is good , food is refilled continuously. And the staffs are very friendly .

There is only one thing that caught my attention: the dining area is a bit dark and not well lit (probably due to the lighting arrangement)

The staff were very friendly. Restaurant itself clean, a little dark.
Food was a no go for me. I can’t eat shrimp or seafood, and almost everything had it in it. Asked for fried rice without shrimp and they could not accommodate. Most of the regular food was cross contaminated with sea food because of tongs and sea food next to it.
Paid $40.00 for two people to eat and only one person ate because the food tasted like shrimp. Better to not eat it and risk getting sick and end up in the hospital.

I don’t know if all these China Stars are all part of one company or if they’re independently owned?
It was pretty busy during the dinner hour and seemed like a lot of families were dining in.
The food was ok and edible with nothing really standing out. The pans and steam table areas should probably be wiped down more often but by the way the customers were loading up their plates, that would be difficult to maintain I imagine. Nice polite host as well as wait staff.
Because I really didn’t feel “wowed” by anything and I don’t really have any complaints, I gave them 3 stars and would probably go back maybe once every 3 or 4 months

I’m so disappointed.
I used to love this place being going since 2019

They humiliated me at cash register.
The manager said i was a thief.
She charged me for 4adults and 3 kids.
Was just me my wife my daughter and sister from church.
I’m a God fearing man.
I love Jesus!
We always pay at table some times at register.
She accused me of being a thief and never paying front of allt of people and and my wife and daughter.
I felt so bad.
I own my own company
I make good money.
I help the those whose are with out.
I will never again.
Now my family not my friends or any of my children to be born after me whatever goes to this place again.
I blame the owners.
And for some reason I think make a mistake, on any occasion and didn’t pay.
I would have happily paid it .

Came to one here friendly staff ,good food.
I don’t take back the above from other China Star on Federal.
I completely blame Management/manger at other location.

Each seafood buffet has an item that is better than the others and in this place the crayfish stand out for their magnificent seasoning. Food is always warm and the The staff is very attentive.

Great food, it is very hard to find a good Chinese buffet anymore but this is one. We went at lunch and they had everything all the time. Didn’t have to wait for more of anything I wanted to be made and didn’t find any old food either. Everything was good and fresh. I didn’t have much for dessert but the chocolate pudding was great. I would definitely come here again. The waitress came by just when we needed her not to much and not to little.

This location wasn’t that great. The food was pretty decent, but the service and inside atmosphere could have been better. The restrooms were horrible, and the inside of the building was hot. This location has pretty okay food. We won’t be trying this location again.

I paid $42 for two people and they never told it was closing time and the food was limited. I hardly get to eat anything because most of the food items were over. I’m very disappointed that they even charged me full for the meal. And yes the food was bland and have no much good taste. And the sushi was very bad.

The buffet we ate was 66.18 with the military discount for all 3 of us. Then the young lady charged me an extra 18.00 for a cup of soup which is outrageous. When I asked about the price the young lady said if I ordered it the soup would’ve been cheaper. Then turned her back on me she was rude and so was out waitress.
