A new gem in town! Very few Chinese food restaurants impress in the Kansas City area, but this one is probably at the top. The food was made fresh once we ordered. The orange chicken battered shell was crisp and the chicken done right, unlike some local restaurants where it’s so mushy it could be a purée. The chicken was very light on orange flavor, but still some of the best I’ve had in this area nonetheless. The family that runs the place is clearly working hard to deliver for their customers.

This place ain’t it. I got orange chicken and fried rice. Orange chicken is bland and soggy. The fried rice isn’t even fried rice, it’s just steamed rice with soy sauce. Come on now, make your fried rice good. Was really looking forward to this, but the orange chicken is just lame and boring. The only part that tasted good was the fortune cookie. Will not be coming back or recommending.

Bland. That’s really all there is to it. Orange chicken didn’t have much flavor, fried rice seemed like steamed rice with soy sauce tossed on it and not actually fried. The food is cheap so I guess that’s a plus but you can just go to Moon Wok and get way better food for the same cheap price. Service was friendly but messed up my order even after repeating it correctly back to me.

My only negative comment is about items that come with mixed vegetables. Mixed vegetables contain broccoli,corn, carrots, pea pods, mushrooms, onions and water chestnuts.
