We love this place and it’s the only place we go now for carry-out. The food is excellent; the wait time is only 15-20 minutes, and the owners are very nice! They do have a younger girl at the counter who is not friendly, but everyone else is great! We only do takeout as there are only a few tables and no “atmosphere”…but it is intended as a take-out place. The negative reviews on here are surprising..as we’ve always received great food! For atmosphere or eat-in, we use Hong Kong Wok n Grill off Indiantown, but go early there as after 6pm, it’s very crowded and they “rush” you while you’re eating.

I got pork fried rice, boneless ribs, egg roll, and wonton soup. The rice had no flavor, overall just really plain. The meat was good until a few pieces in, then it became very tough (almost burnt). The egg roll no flavor as well I’ve never had such a bland egg roll. And then there leaves the soup which was also not seasoned. I don’t understand if they don’t season the food on purpose or it just wasn’t their day. I don’t know what it is, but I’ll stick to China wok better quality for a better price. That’s why you don’t try new places. So uh yea it’s a no for me!

This place is disgusting. Pretty much the Walmart/McDonald’s of Chinese food. I stopped going there a few years ago but figured tonight I would give them another try. As soon as I walked in the door I remembered why I don’t go there anymore. The young lady at the front counter still has her horrible attitude all these years later. She acts like you are a nuisance. Never smiles, never says hello or thank you. Got home and the food was awful. Spring rolls were soggy and were nothing more than old lettuce wrapped in a greasy wonton skin. The steamed dumplings were gross and it looks like they microwaved the plastic dipping sauce container. Anyway I will never go back again. I have seen rats in the rear of that building as well.

We placed an online order for pick up through Amazon‘s food delivery service. While Amazon completely let us down as they often do, China star went above and beyond to deliver an item that was not included in our order. The lovely woman who took the time to bring our item to our home was very kind and extremely apologetic. We really appreciate that they made it right and will continue to patronize their restaurant. Thank you China star! 🙂

Sweet-and-sour soup has zero sweet and zero sour . General Tao Chicken is more like spicy sweet-and-sour chicken. Tough. …. Staying nearby at a hotel and was wanting a change in food, but not this kind of change … sad to give a bad review …. The spring roll is OK. The dumplings a.k.a. potstickers are OK. They do not have ginger in them and kind of bland… I think the problem here is they don’t use salt at all. There is a hint of ginger but it’s so minuscule.
I guess if you want decent food in this area that actually taste good you have to pay a lot of money, I wanted to give one of the smaller stores a try but regret
Oh, and they did not give me special fried rice they just sent white rice, but charge me for special fried rice…. Dang I was the wrong customer to give the end of the day. Crap food to sorry guys. The people at the hotel were waiting to see what the food is like.

If I could suggest anything to this group who I’m sure are good people, I would suggest to take an interest in the food year, pumping out because this is not going to last. Disclose your doors now.

Very good Chinese food. I’ve come to this place several times since 2015 AND when they were located in PGA Blvd ( same owners)
i’ve tried different disches and always taste as good as it should. I have been in Asia and I’ve been to China and this small restaurant makes good Chinese food, coocked by a Chinese person.
I read most of the bad reviews, I dont know if those are fake…. As I said: i’ve been eating their food since 2015
