Love this restaurant. The staff is super friendly and even the delivery is fast. I order from them often at least once a week. My favorite is the chicken and broccoli, chicken wings are amazing and the bbq ribs are delicious. My daughter loves their chicken lo mein.

We tried this spot for the 1st time today and we’re excited to try it out… The staff was nice and that’s all I have good to say about it. The food was pretty much flavorless. We ordered the Kung pao chicken lunch plate, szechuan chicken lunch plate and the 4 wing lunch plate.. There wasn’t a lick of heat to be found which was strange since we ordered SPICY FOOD… smh.. I’m just so disappointed y’all… Even the canned Coca-Cola’s that came with the meal were somewhat flat . They were from the Christmas season (Santa graphics )and we are now in the middle of March. We were so thrilled thinking we might have finally found a gem here in South Florida, but with all do respect it ended up being worthless and tastless.. We will not be spending our money there again.

Came just in time before their lunch special ended at 3pm. There were a couple of people inside ordering take out when I entered. A female employee greeted me as I looked at the menu on the counter. I decided on the bourbon chicken which was served with my choice of fried rice and wonton soup. I asked the female if wonton noodles came with the soup and she assured me that she would put a small bag along with the food.
It was about a 15 minute wait. There are adequate table seating if you want to eat your food inside. The wonton soup was just the right size for me…usually the container has too much broth and I end up throwing it away after eating the wontons. Broth wasn’t salty and wontons didn’t have a chewy texture like it was sitting in the broth for too long.
The bourbon chicken was nicely prepared and complemented the fried rice well. I used the duck & soy sauce packets provided to add some flavor to the fried rice as it was cooked with no salt. Reasonably priced and portioned for a nice lunch, I thoroughly enjoyed the food.

My go to spot for chinese take out!! I’m from up north so it’s hard as hell trying to find a spot that taste just like the chinese spots up north and let me tell yall China Star is the ONLY spot that’s i’ve tried so far in SoFlo that comes close to it. 10/10 HIGLY recommend. The food is always so fresh and flavorful!! They give you so much food too I love it lol and they are always taking care of you. My family came down to visit for the holidays and of course like clock work they wanted chinese food as soon as they got off the plane lol so we came to pick up the order and we ordered 4 extra egg rolls but they forgot to put them in the bag (they were superrrr busy so we should’ve checked as well so we are part to blame for that) we called the store and they were super apologetic about it and said to come back whenever we get the chance and they’ll throw in 4 extra rolls for us. So, Yeah yall go ahead and stop eating at them other places they can’t even compare to China Star 10/10

Family owned restaurant, best Chinese food in Pompano. Staff is friendly and the place is very clean. Open kitchen, we can see the cookers working. They delivery up 5 miles. Right now, only take out and delivery, dine in closed. Best food: egg foo young, pork fried rice and wings.

So I went here for the first time and the chicken wings were hard as a rock I bought it for my baby and she did her tooth was bleeding so I took a bite and it was so hard I don’t know if they made it earlier and then they decided to make it again but horrible never again when it comes to my food I very serious and it’s 15 dollars for some chicken wings and rice down the drain is like it was old and they boiled it or something or the oil was old or whatever if you really care about your health and life do not eat from here

Ordered delivery, arrived in good time. Food had great flavor and what steak I did get was tender. Ordered seafood soup, sweat n sour pork, and beef with mushrooms. All was good except was more like all mushrooms and barely any beef at all. 95% mushroom to beef ratio. Flavor was great just would be better with not so much mushroom and more beef.

China Star is our weekly go-to for Chinese food! Their crab rangoon is the best we’ve ever had, crispy, creamy, and full of flavor. The wonton soup is always comforting and delicious, and the lo mein special hits the spot every single time. Consistently fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Definitely our weekly favorite!
