I had a wonderful time at this restaurant! I chose the orange chicken, while my brother and boyfriend both got sesame chicken, and my parents ordered the lo mein. We also shared some crab rangoons, and the owner generously provided us with an extra one since there were five of us. He even gave us additional sliced oranges, which was such a nice gesture it really made us feel welcomed. The food was incredible—full of flavor, fresh, and served in big portions (we even took some home!). What really impressed me was the homemade mustard; it had just the right kick without being overpowering, adding a fantastic layer of taste. The service was fantastic. The owner checked in on us just the right amount—attentive but not overbearing. You could see his genuine joy for his work, and his friendly attitude made our lunch experience very fun. The restaurant was spotless, and the menu offered a great variety without being too overwhelming. The lunch specials are a fantastic price, and the free refills were a lovely perk. All in all, I had a great experience, and I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to others! (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

The rice was completely undercooked. I ordered the kungpao chicken and orange chicken. The rice in both dishes was hard and un chewable. Barely any chicken more peanuts than anything else. When i called to ask for a remake the lady on the phone called me liar. Ive ordered many times from here before and it was good. Wont be back after this

Tried out this small hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant recently. The food was decent overall but not the best I’ve had. The chicken was a bit over-fried and tough, though it still had good flavor. The rice was solid, and the crab rangoons were the highlight—really tasty. The combo even came with an egg roll, which was delicious.
Service was quick, with the food ready in about 10 minutes. The restaurant itself is very small with outdated decorations, nothing fancy. My biggest downside was the price—$20 for a small serving with rice, crab rangoons, and a drink felt steep compared to other spots I’ve tried.

General Tsos Chicken is 5 stars. Exactly what i was looking for and it was hot and fresh. Review is 4 stars only because the Chicken on a stick (pho pho?) Was very very dry. Overall food was good and service was great, lady at the counter was very nice. Crab Rangoon was a bit sweeter than most places but still hot, fresh, and delicious.

Ordered chicken Pad Thai, it was great. Pork Egg Foo Young was actually burnt. Did not taste well even after peeling off the burn areas. Fried rice served with it had no flavor, was merely wok-fried plain rice and little more. Beef and Broccoli was ok, but the meat was tough and even after my Mom cut it into small pieces she could not eat it with her dentures. Broccoli was not cut to bite size either.
Price was ok, but wasn’t offered the Beef and Broccoli all-day special when ordering over the phone, so paid $2 (plus tax) more than I should have (and didn’t get the egg roll that comes with the special).
I do not recommend, nor will try China Pot again.

Always the best food, I usually just Uber Eats this food and eat every month. The food is always so HOT still after being delivered. Made fresh and I’m always impressed with it. Accurate every time you order. Great place.

I lived in McKinney for a bit and this was my go-to place for Chinese takeout. The food is always excellent and the delivery was so fast. I have a lot of weird dietary restrictions so would often ask for certain ingredients to be removed or adjusted, and everything always showed up EXACTLY how I requested.
