Stopped on our way home from the Irish Hills today. I ordered Shrimp Chop Suey & it was sure yummy! Made to order! The egg rolls were fried in a strange or older oil, but I still ate one. I appreciated this meal after a long day. I would return & would recommend it. Next time I’m going for ABC (Almond Boneless Chicken). The picture in the blue bowl was how I dished it up. I was super hungry!

This place is TERRIBLE!
For one when walking in the place, it doesn’t even smell like food, never mind chinese food and it was very dirty inside. That’s when i should have walked out. But, i didn’t because i hoped the food was good. She wanted to charge extra for sauce’s that comes with egg rolls and with crab ragoon which both these had a dirty oil taste. Rib tips,,, are literally TIPS of bone and fat. Had a disgusting flavor of old dirty oil also. My wonton soup smelled like tanted water and had ZERO soup flavor. The broth was a color i never saw before in wonton soup. Shrimp toast was DRIPPING with the dirty grease.
I love Cantonese on Fenton rd. Which is 3 minutes from our home. But, I hadn’t had china 1 in yrs. It used to be my FAVORITE place. So I decided to try it today instead of my Cantonese. I’m so disappointed at myself! I spent $50 at China One, it truly was garbage. Im not eating this food. It’s that bad!!
I would have spent $100 for Good food. but, this wasn’t good, I just threw $50 away and im not happy!!!!
People, save your money!
I will never be back there ever again!
I would give ZERO STAR if I had that option. Im really not sure how this place is open for business!

Had this for the first time at a friend’s house last night and omg…it brought back memories of New York Chinese. I’ve been spoiled with great foods around the world so this really made me happy. I got the shrimp egg foo young…it was amazing. We also had the steamed dumplings…omg…dim sum perfection. I would highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Oh and Carry out was super quick.

Date night with my husband and we last minute decided to go here for some Chinese food. We got orange chicken, shrimp lo mein, fried won tons and egg rolls. The food was super hot and fresh. We dined in and the service was fantastic.

Food was fresh, tasted great and portion sizes were generous. Had 3 combo meals, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Shrimp w/Lobster sauce and Kung Pao chicken. Egg rolls were excellent! Friendly and appreciative staff.

One of my family is in mind favorite Asian restaurants in Flint. They have some really good fried tofu with vegetables in a brown sauce although I’ve tried a handful of other different things from here throughout the years and they’ve all been really good. 10 out of 10 would recommend if someone’s looking for a cheaper Chinese takeout

This restaurant does not disappoint. This is our 4th year of ordering carry out on Christmas Day. It’s a nice break from all of the other holiday events that require cooking and stress. I appreciate that they are open. The food is outstanding. My family is always happy with their meal. The chicken is tender and the rice is moist. I ordered ahead to pick up at a specific time. I was greeted on the phone and in person by a friendly smiling voice. Food was ready at pick up and didn’t have to wait. They added a little bag of candy which was a nice touch.

I would greatly appreciate it if China One would allow DoorDash to deliver their food. They are able to increase prices on DoorDash to override DoorDash’s fee for delivery. I believe this amazing restaurant will thrive if they join DoorDash! I know that I would MOST definitely order more if it is delivered; over than having to pick up. They are the best food in our area.

I don’t get all the hate for this place; I’ve been coming here for 20+ years and it’s just as excellent as it’s always been. Their fried rice is the absolute best, and their Szechuan chicken is the best I’ve had in the area. I’ve moved a bit from the area, but I keep going out of my way for China One; it’s the best in class!
